Vanhalen Posted June 11, 2004 Report Posted June 11, 2004 I think all Americans can be proud of the send off they have given Reagan today, whatever your political views, your country looks proud and well today
kkktookmybabyaway Posted June 11, 2004 Report Posted June 11, 2004 I don't know why, but just about every time I have seen Nancy this past week, I teared up. I cried a few times when listening to the funeral on radio -- thank God I have my own office away from everyone else...
Swift Terror Posted June 11, 2004 Report Posted June 11, 2004 I cried a few times when listening to the funeral on radio -- thank God I have my own office away from everyone else... Ditto I was able to find a live webcast so I could watch it at work, then the damn thing crapped out just after Margaret Thatcher spoke and had to go back to the radio.
kkktookmybabyaway Posted June 11, 2004 Report Posted June 11, 2004 Did you get a promotion or something?...
Guest BDC Posted June 11, 2004 Report Posted June 11, 2004 George Sr. was the one that really got to me. You could tell he about lost it at one point, thinking about a friend and such.
Guest Astro Posted June 11, 2004 Report Posted June 11, 2004 I heard on O'Reily (sp?) that the cameras caught Clinton Sleeping, any pics of that?
Swift Terror Posted June 11, 2004 Report Posted June 11, 2004 Clinton supporters: "not fair, they are probably praying" Clinton haters: "disrespectful bastard, typical Clinton"

kkktookmybabyaway Posted June 11, 2004 Report Posted June 11, 2004 I'm sure most of you know my opinion regarding the Clintons, but Jesus Christ already -- enough is enough. BTW: With that looks on Bill's face, what do you wager he was thinking about? My guess is he was picturing his wife in the casket...

[conspiracy theorist] We can't see what's going on involving "Mr. Happy". Might be a hummer. [/conspiracy theorist] -=Mike
kkktookmybabyaway Posted June 11, 2004 Report Posted June 11, 2004 Well, his hands are down rather low...
Downhome Posted June 12, 2004 Report Posted June 12, 2004 It looked like Prince Charles was sleeping also.
Guest MikeSC Posted June 12, 2004 Report Posted June 12, 2004 It looked like Prince Charles was sleeping also. That's only because he was so inbred. -=Mike
Jobber of the Week Posted June 12, 2004 Report Posted June 12, 2004 BTW: With that looks on Bill's face, what do you wager he was thinking about? My guess is he was picturing his wife in the casket... In addition to Reagan, he's using the oppertunity for paying his respects to Super Size, when it goes away sometime next year. LOL KLINTOON IS FAT
Exslade ZX Posted June 12, 2004 Report Posted June 12, 2004 Just out of curiousity (sp?) who was the last president that died? And did he get all of this..?
Vern Gagne Posted June 12, 2004 Report Posted June 12, 2004 Richard Milhouse Nixon died in 1993, and no he did not have a state funeral. The last state funeral for a President was Lyndon Baines Johnson in 1973. Hail to the Chief got to me this entire week.
Downhome Posted June 12, 2004 Report Posted June 12, 2004 My God...1993? Where in the living hell did the past DECADE go? It seems like only yesterday that President Nixon passed away. Hail to the Chief got to me this entire week. I'll never be able to watch My Fellow Americans in the same way because of this week.
kkktookmybabyaway Posted June 12, 2004 Report Posted June 12, 2004 LOL KLINTOON IS FAT He is? I remember him being a little chunky during his first term, but he looks fine to me now...
Jobber of the Week Posted June 12, 2004 Report Posted June 12, 2004 I remember him being a little chunky during his first term, but he looks fine to me now... I don't know. O'Reilly was saying Bill was fat last year when he reported the news about the Clintons going on a diet that somebody made a book about (south beach diet or whatever?) He said Hillary looked fine but that Bill needed to lose some pounds. This story wasn't immediately followed up with a whining segment about how the Clintons won't ever stay out of the news and go home, but probably should have been.
