nogoodnick 0 Report post Posted June 21, 2004 I hope he Blazers do trade Eddie Gill for a pick. He's pretty much a worthless bench player in Portland and it would be better for him and the team if he left. Also I really would like to see Telfair playing for the Blazers. If they draft Kirk Snyder in the lottery, they could have their future starting backcourt in this years draft assuming they pan out.

HarleyQuinn 0 Report post Posted June 23, 2004 Oh My God...the #25 pick in the Mock Draft sounds like the 2nd coming of a Pervis Ellison or Eric Montross *shudder*
Gert T 0 Report post Posted June 23, 2004 So if you guys were the GM of the Orlando Magic, and you're assuming you are trading Tracy McGrady, Juwan Howard and Tyronne Lue for Steve Francis, Cuttino Mobley & Kelvin Cato who would you take with the #1 pick? Emaka Okafor or Dwight Howard II? I still would take Hoawrd because I do not think you can become a title contender with Francis-Mobley-Okafor. And I think Howard would be ready in 3 years. I guess it just depends on when you want to win.
Guest Smell the ratings!!! Report post Posted June 23, 2004 I think if the rumors about them not keeping Francis are true, they take Howard. Also, I've heard the Magic might be willing to swap with the Bobcats for a little something, so obviously they wouldn't object to Howard.
nogoodnick 0 Report post Posted June 24, 2004 Phoenix just traded the #7 pick to Chicago for pick 31, future 1st rounder and cash. Chad Ford thinks the Bulls are going after Luke Jackson with the pick. If they go with Iguodala at #3 they will have a good young nucleus to rebuild with. PG Kirk Hinrich SG Luke Jackson SF Andre Iguodala PF Antonio Davis C Eddie Curry Something like that.
Gert T 0 Report post Posted June 24, 2004 Man Luke Jackson has jumped. And that is humorous how they would now have a good nucleus to rebuild with. Too bad they had the no.2 and 3 pick in the 2001 draft and are "rebuilding again".
Guest Smell the ratings!!! Report post Posted June 24, 2004 when someone flies up the draft board thanks to workouts, my natural inclination is to say, "This guy is gonna suck". So naturally I am less than thrilled with were the Bulls are leaning. But it's still better than putting Ben Gordon at shooting guard.
Fökai 0 Report post Posted June 24, 2004 PG Kirk Hinrich SG Luke Jackson SF Andre Iguodala PF Antonio Davis C Eddie Curry Something like that. As of the last Bulls update, Paxson was looking to move Curry, Davis, Crawford and the third pick to a few teams who were interested, namely Boston, Dallas and Seattle (Pierce, Finley and Allen, respectively). I can't see the Bulls drafting someone at #3 with the depth they're going to have at a few positions. If the Bulls use their picks to draft Iguodala and Jackson, staying put on the roster they have for the 2004-2005 season, here's the depth chart off the top of my head: C: Chandler / Curry PF: Davis / Jer. Williams SF: Pippen / Iguodala / Robinson / Dupree SG: Crawford / Jackson / Gill PG: Heinrich/ Pargo

Guest FrigidSoul Report post Posted June 24, 2004 with all of Okafor's back and ankle problems I'm not surprised he was passed over. Howard should be real good

Hogan Made Wrestling 0 Report post Posted June 24, 2004 Oh man am I sick of Vitale's masturbation for NCAA players. I'm so glad Lebron didn't go to college because if he did Vitale would have spontaneously combusted during his draft year.

I don't necessarily disagree with him vis a vis Okafor/Howard, but he does this with EVERY pick. Hell, listen to his analysis of Chicago's pick (and past drafts).
