SamoaRowe 0 Report post Posted June 30, 2004 I just rented the 99 Great American Bash (with Nash vs Savage) just because I heard lots of complaints about it on sunday. I'm going to go watch it now, wish me luck
Agent_Bond34 0 Report post Posted July 1, 2004 So, how'd it go? Anyway... Was the 1998 Great American Bash as bad as I've heard it was? I've seen one match from this show, that I downloaded on Kazaa last year. (It was Benoit vs Booker) Is the rest of the show worth tracking down?

I actually made it through the first three and a half matches until I had to go do other stuff. Then I went to watch it again last night, but my bedroom VCR didn't agree with the tape... So far Hak vs Brian Knobbs was a harmless hardcore affair. Van Hammer vs Mikey Whipwreck was a boring squash with a few innovative spots. and Disco Inferno vs Buff Bagwell actually had some good energy and a hot crowd, so it was an enjoyable match. Agent_Bond34 0 Report post Posted July 3, 2004 The descriptions you gave for those three matches seem about right, from what I can recall. It's been a while since I last seen the 1999 Great American Bash, so my memory might be a bit fuzzy as far as that PPV goes. Can anyone (who has seen the show) answer my question regarding the 1998 Great American Bash?
