kkktookmybabyaway 0 Report post Posted June 23, 2004 I just got this game yesterday and was wondering at what level will my character probably finish the game on? I'll probably start out as the Cleric if the better half doesn't pick the Barbarian (She'll probably be the Dwarf)...

Highland 0 Report post Posted June 26, 2004 I have BG2, haven't played it in a while but if I remember correctly, my character was in the mid teens for level, so it might be the roughly the same for Dark Alliance.
LaParkaYourCar 0 Report post Posted June 26, 2004 Bah...you should have gone with Champions of Norrath...it's much better. A friend and I rented Baldur's Gate 2: Dark Alliance because he loved the first one and he didn't like it. Then we rented Champions of Norrath and he said "that's more like it"
Rendclaw 0 Report post Posted June 26, 2004 on average, if you;re starting a character from level 1, he'll top out at about 18th-20th level, depending what game level you choose to start from, as you get more experience for playing a normal level game than an easy level game, and even more if you play a hard level game to start, even though that's a challenge from level 1. I have to admit that each of the PCs are fun for different reasons... I think I have had the most fun with the dwarf and the monk. My gf and I are playing a game where I am playing Drizzt and she is playing the monk, and its absolutely sick at times. As for Chamipons of Norrath, no Evercrack product is going to grace my PS2 or PC, and thats the way it is.
kkktookmybabyaway 0 Report post Posted June 26, 2004 Bah...you should have gone with Champions of Norrath...it's much better. I have that one, too, and I heard it was better, but if BG2 is like the first I'll be content. When the better half and I were playing CON she was saving all her ability points for some high-level skill, but we finished the game before she could get it. I laughed and she hit me. Now at least I can get some idea of when I'll be done level-wise -- we rarely jump to more diffcult modes...
