Guest Dynamite Kido Posted June 23, 2004 Report Posted June 23, 2004 I was reading on puroresupower.com today that on the 7/18 Ryogoku Kokugikan AJPW show that apparently Misawa/Taue and several NOAH Jr's are going to be on that show. Now here's my question.....has all the bad blood between Misawa and AJPW died down since Muto was handed the company or what is going on with that???
EL DANDY~! Posted June 23, 2004 Report Posted June 23, 2004 Misawa's beef was with Mrs. Baba, which is why NOAH was formed in the first place. Basically, since Mrs. Baba sold her shares in the company to Mutoh, Misawa and Co. have stated that without her there, that they would be willing to work with All Japan again. Mutoh and Kea are gonna face Misawa and Ogawa at NOAH's Dome Show on 7/10, and Misawa is gonna send some NOAH talent back to AJPW in exchange for the work on 7/10.

Thanks for the help.......it was a situation that always confused me.......I really didn't get into AJPW until after NOAH was already created.
theintensifier Posted June 26, 2004 Report Posted June 26, 2004 AJPW pre-split was the greatest ever. That would be sweet to see Misawa and Kawada go at it one more time.
Guest Black Tiger Posted June 26, 2004 Report Posted June 26, 2004 it'd be good for novelty value, but with Misawa horribly broken down, and Kawada also regressing, the match quality would be somewhat less than their previous classics. Look at their final match in 2000 to see what I mean.
Guest momoracci Posted June 26, 2004 Report Posted June 26, 2004 the match quality would be somewhat less than their previous classics I doubt they'd even be able to touch the ***+ stuff they had from 1998-2000; forget about 1992-1995, which is in another galaxy completely. Anthony
Guest DeathBecomesYou Posted July 3, 2004 Report Posted July 3, 2004 True, but it'd still be cool to see them beat the shit out of each other again.
