Even though half of them don't watch wrestling or understand where we're coming from as fans and supporters of TNAW. Who wouldn't get sick of having to defend something for two years? Seriously. It's like they don't think we understand the difference between being negative for no reason and having a difference of opinion. We get talked down to like children but then if we try to do something about it...we get talked to like children again. I DO feel like they're being elitist. I don't think we're acting like children. Basically, we were told if we have a problem to tell someone through PM, make a post in Site Feedback or use the report button. We've done all three. The only thing that has changed is that before we were told to do it, now we're being blasted for doing it. What's the point of doing it if it's going to fall on deaf fucking ears? "I read the thread, you're wrong." It's more complex than that. A lot more factors into the equation. Nelly's Bandaid isn't just another flame-baiter. He's another piece of wood onto the fucking fire. This shit has been building for two years...and a mod would put some fucking water on the goddamn campfire.

 

I'll admit, we may have went a little overboard with Nelly's Bandaid. He's probably not Dave O'Neill since they did the IP check. I'm still convinced that he's a troll though. Seriously, look at his username. It's a gimmick account. Look at his registration date...it's like a week old. He comes in here and blasts TNAW after saying that he hasn't watched it for awhile. You put them all together, how is that not flamebaiting? We've all been watching for two years. We've seen the highs and the lows. We've defended TNAW from day one. Now, two years later, we're still trying to defend the product despite the fact that they haven't folded and have a national TV deal. Nobody's perfect. Every federation is going to have some mistakes. They happen. You don' t just up and find TSM out of the blue when it's been here for this long. Either it's a gimmick account or a previously banned poster. Both are supposed to be frowned upon. If he was an actual new user; first time registerer to the site...I doubt he would choose that username. I doubt he would've JUST found this site...and I doubt he would've shown up and basically be the odd man out of this forum. That's too many fucking coincidences.

You know why? Because I lack self control, so I can't stop coming here. I actually like this section of the website, I just dislike the way that the other areas of this forum are handled. Still, take that sentence away, and I feel like I made several good points.

 

I stand by those points. This folder should have a mod simply because it needs a mod and one could easily be appointed.

 

I've talked to several of you via PM. All of you agreed with me. None of you "broke the ice," so to speak, in the Site Feedback post, so I took the liberty. Yeah, it was filled with High School like drama, but I was trying to make a point. I was trying to drill home the fact that this isn't a light issue, simply because we're the majority. They (the current mods) don't come here anyway, so why the fuck should they even care? It seems like they don't want more mods just because they feel like some superior clique. That's what is seems like. Hell, Loss even sent me a PM after I made my post to commend me for making a stand. Someone had to say something. Everyone else seems like they were afraid to say some shit. I don't give a fuck, I'll fucking say it. I'll speak whatever the fuck I'm feeling. I'm not afraid to get banned over some shit. Hell, I've been banned from at least six different message forums and it was ALWAYS because I had a difference of opinion from the mods and admins.

 

Obviously I don't know the difference. I just think it's a case of poor judgment of character. There's a lot of dumb fucks running around here and it just so happens that some of them are mods. You give some people some site "power" and suddenly the goddamn posters, the people keeping the site going, become the odd men out. It's not like we were asking for a lot.

 

A:) Someone could've stepped in and told Nelly's Bandaid to tone it down a little. Granted he could've told us to tone it down a little too. A little comment from a mod saying something like "make sure you back up all of your points and don't ignore other people's points" would've went a long way.

 

B:) We want a mod. What's the big deal? Obviously the section could use one. It wouldn't hurt anything, so why the fuck not? It would've ended all this drama and bullshit.

Absolutely NOT. The only people who should have toned down ANYTHING were the ones who went off on him for no reason. I didn't see HIM calling others trolls, or "Dave O'Neill". I saw him making points that many here chose to ignore. You simply DECIDED that he never watches it and, thus, his views must not count --- even though he DID watch it.

 

If this board is unable to handle legitimate criticism and disagreements, then the mods would be best served just shutting it down altogether and sticking it in the Misc. Folder.
