Guest SP-1 Report post Posted July 2, 2004 I bought the Spidey 2 soundtrack and wound up being surprised by Yellowcard. I had heard of them, but this was the first time I'd actually heard them and I think it stole the album for me. Any of you guys fans? And if so, any recommendations? Is the CD worth picking up on a blind purchase?
Guest The Last Free Voice Report post Posted July 2, 2004 I don't like them. They're just generic pop sold as "punk" like Good Charolete. I saw them perform live on IMX and they blew. Off Key and out of tune. It was accoustic, but it was HORRIBLE. That really turned me off to them.
justsoyouknow 0 Report post Posted July 2, 2004 They've covered Michelle Branch's "Everywhere". I think that's all you need to know about them.

Youth N Asia 0 Report post Posted July 3, 2004 They put on the most energetic set I saw at Warped last year (behind Andrew WK of course). For what they are they're not bad. The CDs good enough.
Placebo Effect 0 Report post Posted July 3, 2004 The video for their song Ocean Avenue is badass. Not necessarily the storyline of the video, but I love the directing. Not a bad band. Not great by any means, though.
HollywoodSpikeJenkins 0 Report post Posted July 4, 2004 That video mocks Brand New's video for that one song that I actually liked. Both video's are cool.
Youth N Asia 0 Report post Posted July 4, 2004 Yellowcard and Brand New are two of the better recient bands to come around lately in that type of music.
