For those who are interested in some of Michael Moore's earlier work, IFC is gonna air The Big One(1997) in about 30mins. Whether you like or hate the man, check the documentary out......

I kinda liked Moore in this type of protrayal...going around making goofy one liners, trying to make corporate empires look stupid and openly admiting he is a fat pig.

The he got all preachy and grew a ego to match his waist.

The Big One is pretty funny and somewhat insightful. I can never find anyone thats seen it though, its like Moore's forgotten flick.

I watched this a couple of months ago. IIRC, there's a scene where Moore met the head honcho of Nike (Phil Knight) and challenge him to a race...wait, am I thinking of a different movie?

Damn the deadlines, my brain is turning to mush now.

Moore asks Knight if he will donate money to schools in Flint. I'm not sure how this ended though.

No, you've got the right movie.

The Steve Forbes part is GOLD!

Anyone see Moore on the Daily Show. They'll be replaying it all day, funny shit.

I saw it in my politics class about a year and a half ago and I remember it being funny. The donation checks he sent to the Presidential candidates ('Abortionists for Pat Buchanan) especially sticks out. And while it's kind of admirable that he's going around and trying to stick up for the little guy, going around, being a shit disturber, and bugging security guards kind of bugged me. I mean, it's not their fault that their company is downsizing.
