Open the Muggy Gate 0 Report post Posted July 8, 2004 I was searching the message board on another site, and I saw this... I went to the PXW website to look for the results and look what I found in bold writting on the front page: We're very sorry to say that PXW has been closed due to copyright infringement and threats of being sued from the WWE Corporation©. These are real threats. More information available here. If you have not recieved an E-Mail from Rix please mail him at [email protected] ASAP. We also urge you to remove any WWE© images (wrestlers, logos, belts, etc) and/or WWE© copyrights (gimmicks, wrestler names, angles, etc) from your site before you too receive this threat. For more information regarding WWE© copyrights you can E-Mail the person who is sending these threats at [email protected] please be nice though, it's not her fault she works for a childish, heartless, company who only care about money. This was my fav fed at the moment. Heads up guys. You can't use WWE pictures now Well now Vince has really lost his mind to think e-feds are fighting him.... JHawk 0 Report post Posted July 8, 2004 And this is why I only join efeds where you have to create an original character. But considering how many times in my six years of running an efed that I saw one of my finishes used by the WWF within six weeks, I don't think they're really the ones who should be calling efeds to the carpet. EdwardKnoxII 0 Report post Posted July 8, 2004 Maybe they're mad that E-feds can book better angles and shows then they could ever hope for SD.
Guest Loss Report post Posted July 8, 2004 Do any e-feds charge money to use their service? If not, there's no profit coming out of it, and I don't see how they have a leg to stand on.
TheBigSwigg 0 Report post Posted July 8, 2004 Further proof that they stole Mordecai's gimmick from my e-fed.
JHawk 0 Report post Posted July 8, 2004 Do any e-feds charge money to use their service? If not, there's no profit coming out of it, and I don't see how they have a leg to stand on. Most don't, although there are a few. The issue is that some e-feds are using the pictures and trademarks, but what's next? Suing an e-fed because someone mentions Steve Austin in a promo? LaParkaYourCar 0 Report post Posted July 8, 2004 Well even if you create original characters a lot of the time people use WWE wrestlers to represent their character in the graphics.
Open the Muggy Gate 0 Report post Posted July 8, 2004 Did anyone see this e-fed? What were they like?
Guest Loss Report post Posted July 8, 2004 E-feds are no different than fan fiction, which is very common for almost all movies and TV shows. There are entire websites devoted to that sort of thing. WWE isn't nearly as monstrous as they think they are, and the pseudo-classist behavior isn't really doing them any favors.
TheBigSwigg 0 Report post Posted July 8, 2004 I would take them on. Since you don't charge, they have no basis for a law suit, right?
Guest Aecas Report post Posted July 8, 2004 Obviously the WWE think that the free and friendly competetiveness of e-feds are eating into their failing profits somehow.
Guest Real F'n Show Report post Posted July 8, 2004 Actually, it's because WWE is planning on starting their own e-fed guys. I read that on 411 but never bothered to post.
LaParkaYourCar 0 Report post Posted July 8, 2004 Yeah if WWE started their own efed they'd shut it down after they realized the efed'ers were writing better storylines than their own writers.
TheBigSwigg 0 Report post Posted July 8, 2004 So they think E-feds are just like the real thing, huh? Take out all the small ones and crown yourself the only choice around. Great strategy.
EdwardKnoxII 0 Report post Posted July 8, 2004 Which means Tripe H will be going over all of us in the e-fed world.
Guest Fook Report post Posted July 8, 2004 Actually, it's because WWE is planning on starting their own e-fed guys. I read that on 411 but never bothered to post. So because they have an e-fed, no one else can? WWE is like a spoiled child.
LaParkaYourCar 0 Report post Posted July 8, 2004 I'd hate to see the rules of a WWE E-Fed if they really made one.
Guest Aecas Report post Posted July 8, 2004 I'd hate to see the rules of a WWE E-Fed if they really made one. Cruiserweight matches would be NO LONGER than 1,000 words each for starters.

Open the Muggy Gate 0 Report post Posted July 8, 2004 If you play a Japanese character, it can't be really cool. It must be stereotyped and you must have some lame legsweep finisher with a clawhold.
LaParkaYourCar 0 Report post Posted July 8, 2004 All hoss characters are required to have a Spinebuster and Sitout Powerbomb in their moveset or they will not be allowed.
JHawk 0 Report post Posted July 8, 2004 If you get a cruiserweight character over, you must job the title off to either a woman nobody's seen in months or a senior citizen. *the "We thought WCW got something right" clause
LaParkaYourCar 0 Report post Posted July 8, 2004 Movesets will be limited to 1 Finisher, 1 Signature Move, and 5 BASIC Moves. Anything over that is not allowed.
TSA09 0 Report post Posted July 8, 2004 Since when is it WWE Corporation? Looking it up on corporate sites, it's WWE Entertainment, Inc.. It's also nice to know J.R. makes $318,333 a year and Kevin Dunn makes $497,917.
JHawk 0 Report post Posted July 8, 2004 never been in an efed? No problem, because we'll accept you without ever seeing you cut a promo or work a match.
Open the Muggy Gate 0 Report post Posted July 8, 2004 Any person that tries to put down Triple H will immediately get kicked out. You must pray to a golden Triple H statue at least once a month in a promo.
Guest Aecas Report post Posted July 8, 2004 Anyone who is shorter than 6 feet tall and is well muscled but not built like a brick shithouse will be required to linger in midcard hell for at least 4 years before getting a world title run. After 2 months of title reign you are then expected to job said title to a dodgy gesture waving former alcoholic.
