Guest FrigidSoul Report post Posted July 12, 2004 Is your goal to get everybody in the mood to do hallucinagens and heroin? I only ask because I now feel like shooting up and laying on my floor while all this music surrounds me.

Guest FrigidSoul Report post Posted July 12, 2004 Did he tell you I have no clue what the fuck you're playing? I still don't. Â Letting somebody play rhythm guitar while somebody hits the same drum over and over again while you talk about some meaningless event is not music.

Guest FrigidSoul Report post Posted July 12, 2004 I had heard of the Velvet Underground but that was my first time ever hearing them. Somebody told me they were the inspiration to The Sex Pistols. Â Since this is your genre feel free to back that up or rip it up as much as you want. That being said do you usually only get an hour?

Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted July 12, 2004 The VU track isn't a go to point for people wondering about the band. Â Then what would be?
Giuseppe Zangara 0 Report post Posted July 12, 2004 The first album. Manages rock, blues, avant garde, etc. in one great package. The second album is more or less noise/free jazz-disguised as garage rock; the third album is very quiet and pretty; the fourth album was their stab at commercial radio. Guest FrigidSoul Report post Posted July 12, 2004 So then whomever said they were the Sex Pistols inspiration was full of shit? (This would be a Canadian by the name of Chris I believe which said it)

Adam 0 Report post Posted July 12, 2004 Well, I posted this in Music once before and I doubt anyone noticed, but because of this radio stuff, I may as well pimp my own radio show as well. Â It's on from 3pm until 4pm tomorrow, which going by the board time at this point is 11pm-12am board time. Go to www.edgeradio.org.au to listen. We can't play really hardcore music, but I try as best I can to have the best playlist possible with the limited choice I have at the timeslot. Thats www.edgeradio.org.au - you can listen through Real or WMP. Enjoy.
BifEverchad 0 Report post Posted July 12, 2004 Oh, since everyone is pimping stuff in MY thread. I might as well add the fact that I just had a shit about 3 minutes ago, and it was amazing. I'll keep you all updated on any future happenings!
Giuseppe Zangara 0 Report post Posted July 12, 2004 Animal Collective - Kids On Holiday Animal Collective rock. We Tigers is a better song though. I think "Kids On Holiday" might be my favorite song on Sung Tongs, but the whole damn album is snazzy, so whatever.
