AMERICA’S MOST WANTED TNA will unveil yet another innovation this Wednesday night live on TNA Pay-Per-View, as for the first time in wrestling history a bout will take place inside a six-sided steel cage! NWA World Tag Team Champions The Naturals will defend the gold against former titleholders – and hated enemies – America’s Most Wanted! A little over one year ago, America’s Most Wanted made history by winning back the NWA World Tag Team Title against Triple X in TNA’s first steel cage bout…also a 2003 Match of The Year contender! Can Chris Harris and James Storm make history against this Wednesday night on Pay-Per-View in the debut of the Six Sided Steel Cage? Tune in and find out! JEFF HARDY RETURNS TO TNA – WILL HE ANSWER DUSTY? This past Wednesday night, we learned that Jeff Hardy would return to The Asylum this Wednesday night in person to answer the offer of TNA and “The American Dream” Dusty Rhodes! What was the offer, and what does Jeff Hardy’s future hold in wrestling and TNA? Tune in this Wednesday night to see Jeff Hardy return to TNA as we hope to answer these questions and much more! THE PHENOMENAL AJ STYLES AND JERRY LYNN VS. MICHAEL SHANE AND KAZARIAN w/ Traci There’s a big question concerning this tag team match – what is the status of AJ Styles’ knee injury, and will he be able to compete this Wednesday night? The Phenomenal One showed guts by competing with the injury against Kazarian, but will he be able to do the same this Wednesday night as he joins fellow X pioneer Jerry Lynn to take on both Shane and Kazarian? The cocky team of Kazarian and Shane has already earned title shots against Styles. The question is, what lengths will they go to further damage the X Champion before they meet for the gold? NO DISQUALIFICATION MATCH SABU VS. THE MONSTER ABYSS w/ Goldylocks This past Wednesday, the monster Abyss nearly annihilated the Homicidal, Genocidal, Suicidal superstar Sabu after hitting him with his “Shock Treatment” backbreaker and powerbombing him through a table. As a result of the chaos, TNA officials have signed Sabu and Abyss to meet this Wednesday night in a No Disqualification Match, meaning anything goes! Will Raven take this opportunity to continue stalking his former friend Sabu? Or, will the mind games continue for Sabu? AN INTERVIEW WITH THE SUSPENDED KID KASH Prior to his recent scheduled X Championship Match again AJ Styles, Kid Kash was suspended by TNA officials for reasons yet unknown. “No comment” has been the term of choice among TNA management concerning Kash, but this Wednesday night, the suspended superstar will get the opportunity to tell his side of the story. Why did TNA suspend Kash, when will he be back and what does he have to say about the ongoing situation? According to sources, TNA management will be closely monitoring the interview – which is scheduled to be taped just hours prior to Wednesday’s live broadcast. Can “The Professor” Mike Tenay get to the bottom of the story in this sit-down exclusive? Tune in and find out! NUMBER ONE CONTENDER MATCH FOR THE NWA TAG TEAM TITLE TRIPLE X (DANIELS AND SKIPPER) VS. TEAM MEXICO’S MR. AGUILA AND ABISMO NEGRO The superstars of the X Division will be in action this Wednesday night as the legendary Triple X team of Daniels and Skipper face Team Mexico’s Aguila and Abismo Negro for the number one contender status to the tag team gold in TNA! Can Daniels and Skipper make good on their mission to once again challenge for the tag team gold? They’ll get their shot against the World X Cup dominant Team Mexico this Wednesday night live on Pay-Per-View! SICILIAN STREET FIGHT “IRISH” PAT KENNEY VS. BIG VITO w/ Trinity Big Vito recently debuted in TNA with a vengeance, attempting to straighten out the New York Connection of Glenn Gilberti and Johnny Swinger for “the family back home”. Making an example, Vito brutally attacked “Irish” Pat Kenney this past Wednesday on Pay-Per-View – leading to two brawls during the show between both superstars! As a result, TNA officials have signed Vito and Kenney to face off this Wednesday night live on Pay-Per-View in a Sicilian Street Fight! SHARK BOY, D-RAY 3000 AND REFEREE MIKE POSEY VS. THE NEW YORK CONNECTION AND DAVID YOUNG If the New York Connection of Gilberti and Swinger know what’s good for them, they’ll heed Big Vito’s advice and take down Shark Boy, D-Ray 3000 and referee Mike Posey this Wednesday night on Pay-Per-View. Otherwise, according to Vito, there will be “consequences”. On the other hand, Sharkboy, D-Ray 3000 and Mike Posey have become huge fan favorites in TNA, and look to once again humiliate the NYC any way they can this Wednesday night! ALL THIS AND MORE THIS WEDNESDAY LIVE ON PAY-PER-VIEW!
Brocklock 0 Report post Posted July 17, 2004 This could be decent. The Six Sided Cage could be great or a mess, both Styles/Lynn vs Kazarian/Shane and XXX/Team Mexico could be good to decent. I might order.
TNABaddboi 0 Report post Posted July 17, 2004 Apparently, according to the Impact commercials, they're calling this show "Six Sides of Steel" and I gotta admit, I kinda like it. I think every once and a while they should name the PPVs. It makes them feel special. Now whether or not, they live up to it or not is another matter entirely, but I believe this is the fourth time they've done this. There was "Destiny," "Anarchy in the Aslyum", "Wednesday Bloody Wednesday" and now "Six Sides of Steel." The Destiny show was big deal cuz it had JJ/Raven and the Wed. Bloody Wed. had the Wargames match and the Super X Cup, so I guess they're 2 out of 3 in that department. But anyway, this line-up looks great. The cage match should be good if its gets the kind of time the AMW/XXX cage match did, and hopefully we get as solid an in-ring story as we did that time. Styles/Lynn vs Kazarian/Shane should also rock mightly. Sabu and Abyss could be a huge mess or an entertaining brawl. Who knows? I'll definitely be ordering. Corey_Lazarus 0 Report post Posted July 17, 2004 Lovely how they don't touch upon the feud that made TNA in Lynn/Styles when hyping the tag match...
TNABaddboi 0 Report post Posted July 17, 2004 Well they did briefly mention that they were former tag partners on Wednesday but that was it. I agree though, they should do more. It'd be relatively simple too. They could say that they've come to respect each other after all the battles as Styles has maturely and become less disrespectful. Guest Coffey Report post Posted July 17, 2004 OK, so now that Direct TV has dropped TNAW, how can I watch the weekly Wednesday PPV's? Can you still get them off of Bit Torrent? Does anyone have the URL? It's disappointing to not be able to follow the promotion that you're trying to support....
Styles 0 Report post Posted July 18, 2004 Glad to see the graphics added, good work ma boy! There's one with Jeff Hardy up, and 2 split graphics for the 6 sided cage match. Now hop to it...hop, I say! This was a card when they were running it down that I thought "eh, I can skip it"...and then they said it....SIX SIDED CAGE. Oh man, this is gonna be awesome. Plus Lynn/Styles vs. Kazarian/Shane makes it a lock fulfilling my "2 match rule" (2 matches I really want to see make it an order). Plus the Kid Kash interview could be VERY interesting if they decide to go worked shoot as rumored, and hey that wacky Jeff Hardy will be there too! TNA's been hot, let's see if they can keep the streak going...
Blade2kxx 0 Report post Posted July 18, 2004 Thanks man... I knew that if I wanted to post the preview again, I had to add the cool TNA pics. Anyway, my thoughts on the card are this: The Six Sided Cage is going to fucking rock... It's like the Dudz and the Hardyz... except 10 times better with an awesome cage around it. Seriously though, I'm getting into The Naturals and it'll be a shame to see AMW win... A-GAIN. Match will still kick ass. Sign the damn contract already Jeff... Lynn/Styles vs. Kazarian/Shane will be damn good. I don't know about anyone else, but I'm liking Kazarian and Shane as a team. Once Kash comes back, why not give them a run at AMW? Sabu and Abyss = Trainwreck... but it'll be entertaining nonetheless... I worry about the growing Abyss/Shelley fued. Kash = The Fucking Man... Speak out loud and fucking clear. XXX vs. Mexico... didn't we see this in one of the X-Cups? Could have sworn we did. I like Kenney... I think Vito is overlooked... but LET THIS FUED DIE~! The 6 Man... uh, we'll move on... Overall, it'll be a good show I hope. And look, not one mention of Jeffy Jeff... which means more foreshadowing to his fued with Monty Brown that nobody wants. Magus 0 Report post Posted July 18, 2004 -Six Sides of Steel: i like the naming of the match, and it should be sweet. i'm hoping that the Naturals find a way to retain, as they deserve to be more than AMW's latest job boys. its too soon for AMW to triumphantly win back the titles. -Jeff Hardy: they've teased and teased, and FINALLY he's going to sign. i expect Hardy to be in the World Title scene right away, which may not be so bad if he can be carried in his matches. if TNA plays their cards right (play on words, get it?), they can have Hardy, Shamrock, Truth, D'Lo, and Monty all challenging for Jeff's Title. could make for an interesting main event if JJ doesn't just bury them all. -Styles/Lynn vs. Kazarian/Shane: i agree that Kazarian and Shane make a good team, and i agree that Lynn isn't given nearly enough spotlight. still, this makes for a good X Division Title fued, even if it doesn't have the absolute best challengers. -Kid Kash interview: if TNA is smart, they'll keep Kash around. he's the best heel they've got, and i'm STILL salivating to see him work his fued with Styles. after this, he should get back into the XD Title race. Shane/Kazarian are okay, but they can't work the XD style like Kash can. -Abyss vs. Sabu: a good brawl, nothing more. basically, this will further Abyss' face turn and Sabu's fued against Raven. too bad Raven won't actually be there. -Triple X vs. Triple A: xXx should carry this one nicely, and obviously take the win. adding them to the Tag Title race can only help. -Vito vs. Pat Kenney: finally Kenney has an actual legit opponent. this should be a nice fued until Vito gets himself kicked out of TNA. Pat Kenney can be gold if they give him a good program to work. this is a decent start. -2 Jobbers and a Ref vs. Two Losers and another Jobber: so, we have Sharky and D-Ray, who are the court jesters of the Asylum. then we have Gilberti, Young, and Swinger, who are the worst team ever since the bWo. with that, i don't see this as being too terrible. no one spectacular is being wasted, so let these guys just fued with each other instead of dragging others down with them. OVERALL: this should be a good one. with Hardy's contract signing (or whatever), TNA has a chance to rebuild their main event stronger than ever.
2GOLD 0 Report post Posted July 18, 2004 Hardy would make a good addition maybe to the X division scene but in no way shape or form should he be allowed near a belt for a long time. He needs to prove he is stable and not going to pull one of his "I need to get more into my music!" phases again. This isn't the PPV that starts on DishNetwork is it? Cause if it is, I'll be ordering. Otherwise, got no way to order it since Digital Cable is a giant rip-off.
Guest Donners Report post Posted July 20, 2004 A very good card, but I'm more interested in the Kash interview. I'm a sucker for shoots...
Corey_Lazarus 0 Report post Posted July 20, 2004 if TNA plays their cards right (play on words, get it?), they can have Hardy, Shamrock, Truth, D'Lo, and Monty all challenging for Jeff's Title. could make for an interesting main event if JJ doesn't just bury them all. The problem with that main event scene is that the bolded names are ones common fans will consider "WWF/WWE cast-off's," especially Hardy and D'Lo. Nothing they've done since leaving the WWF/WWE has made them seem like anything really special in the eyes of many, so why make them the main event of a company that's trying to be the ALTERNATIVE to WWE? IMO, the main event should have consisted of Styles, Abyss, Jarrett, Truth, Lynn, and Raven for a while now. Each of them are over enough to be at that spot (with the exception of Jarrett, who the fans sit on their hands for due to overexposure), and for Styles, Truth, and Raven, they've been deserving of that spot for at least a year. Magus 0 Report post Posted July 20, 2004 oh, i didn't handpick those guys, Laz. by no means. besides D'Lo, the guys i listed there are the only real competitors who have had anything to do with the main event scene. D'Lo is in a position where any heel on the roster can call him out and make a good fued of it. basically, i'd rather see Jarrett fued with actual wrestlers--even if they are WWE castoffs--instead of running another boring-ass angle with him versus Erik Watts, Vince Russo, or someone else that no one gives a damn about. but of course, all of this is up to Jarrett, as everything on TNA is doing good except for the title scene. kinda makes you think.
