Dave Meltzer's Vengeance Review

I've not seen it yet, but I'm assuming the high rating is because of the finish of the match (which everybody lists as being really good). People remember the end far moreso than the rest of the match.

The ending of the Orton/Edge match was indeed spectacular, however that barely madeup for what was otherwise a damn borefest for 15mins prior.

 

I wonder if Meltzer in usual fashion will bash the matches he gave good ratings to, on his WOL.

Does he review shows live, or after a day or so? I'm asking because on first viewing, I know I tend to be FAR more generous towards a show.

 

Also, because this really doesn't warrant a seperate thread --- is Orlando Jones out of the WWE or something?

I believe you mean Orlando JORDAN. But, alas, the WCW Buy-Out Killer is still in the company. I can't remember the last time he had a match, but I haven't seen any news of his release, so I'm assuming he's still there.

You mean Orlando Jordan? No, he's still there. He just doesn't appear very much/at all on Velocity any more. He's probably still doing house shows.

Ah. I was wondering because I don't see his name even mentioned in OVW.

 

And I have to remember --- Orlando Jones = mediocre comic actor.

Orlando Jordan = mediocre WWE wrestler.
