Guest JMA Report post Posted July 19, 2004 WWE has announced that Christopher Nowinski will serve as their political correspondent next week at the Democratic National Convention. WWE is also planning to have a presence at the Republican National Convention next month. Credit: 411Mania.com I think this is a good idea. Nowinski is well spoken and is a Harvard graduate. He is a good ambassador for WWE and can only make them look good.
Rob E Dangerously 0 Report post Posted July 19, 2004 will they bring in Scott Steiner for a "Crossfire" segment?
Guest GreatOne Report post Posted July 19, 2004 Well it actually makes sense with Nowinski having played on the against side of the Iraq "debate" never mind half those clowns (John Kerryedwards, coughcough) voted for the war and have spent the last six years at least arguing about why we should use military action there. Any bets on which one of you's gonna tell me to take it to CE? (Actually as I remember it, wasn't it Steiner who responded about Iraq harboring the AQ's of the world and then Nowitski getting all bitchy and then the 3MW beatdown? FITS LIKE A GLOVE I TELL YA!) Guest tangerine Report post Posted July 19, 2004 It will be interesting to see how Vince; A well known Republican die hard will select his "ambassador" for the Republican convention. He could very well send his most outspoken Republican, His current world champion; Bradshaw but would he actually send a heel and a heel with recent hot constroversy to represent his "side"?. At least with 2000, He was more "nice" to the democrats sending Chyna and The Rock but it's certaintly was interesting how Rock spoke at the Republican convention and not the Democratic. Although; It's well known THE ROCK is a republican.
Jobber of the Week 0 Report post Posted July 19, 2004 will they bring in Scott Steiner for a "Crossfire" segment? I want a Steiner vs Bill Clinton debate. Each man has 10 minutes and one woman under the desk. And "GreatOne," it's not that you need to leave the WWE folder or get out, it's that in this forum we don't care about your political view and how big a Republican you are, sigs aside. When you started bitching about Moore here in the WWE forum, it was out of place. That's all.
Guest JMA Report post Posted July 20, 2004 He could very well send his most outspoken Republican, His current world champion; Bradshaw but would he actually send a heel and a heel with recent hot constroversy to represent his "side"?. Actually, Bradshaw has said before that he's an Independent. Of course, he's no more of an Independent than Bill O'Reilly is, but he has to maintain the illusion. Vince has always struck me as a somewhat moderate Republican. Keep in mind that many of the people who tried to shut him down were somewhat hardline Republicans/conservatives; some examples would be the PTC and various religious groups. Therefore, I don't think he'd have much of a problem making fun of the more hardline members of his party with a character like Bradshaw.
AlaskanHero 0 Report post Posted July 20, 2004 I think I understand why Bradshaw would say he's an independent. The WWE probably doesn't want to label the Republicans with Bradshaw, because then the fans would think that the Republican party are a bunch of Nazis. razazteca 0 Report post Posted July 20, 2004 I seriously doubt that the "core" audience of WWE ever voted for local school board elections.....why talk politics when majority of the fans are indifferent about it?

When you started bitching about Moore here in the WWE forum, it was out of place. That's all. Do people actually claim you here? That pisses me off, don't try to speak for people when they obviously could give a flying fuck. BTW were you giving the guy who posted that 'Ric Flair should put George Bush in the figure four' a few weeks ago the same lecture? Actually, Bradshaw has said before that he's an Independent. Of course, he's no more of an Independent than Bill O'Reilly is, but he has to maintain the illusion. It's possible to be an indie and a Bush supporter you know, especially when the other candidates suck. Vince has always struck me as a somewhat moderate Republican. Keep in mind that many of the people who tried to shut him down were somewhat hardline Republicans/conservatives; some examples would be the PTC and various religious groups Keep in mind that Lieberman was on the PTC, and the extremes of both sides are really no friends to either Bush or Kerry. Remember after 911 you had the Buchanans and Falwells going on about how we 'deserved our fate'.
