I never caught Nip/Tuck because I'm so NOT into surgery. But this show was pretty good. I just never knew how far the language envelope has been pushed on TV shows these days. the max 0 Report post Posted July 22, 2004 I knew Leary would do well with the subject matter. He lost a cousin and a childhood friend in a Worcester fire about four or five years ago. I was a little hesitant about Dennis Leary, but, good Lord, he owned in his role. This is one of the main areas Leary REALLY knows a lot about considering his family. I had no doubts about him in this role. Youth N Asia 0 Report post Posted July 22, 2004 I don't think Lucky was really a miss...it was nominated for an Emmy or something. The show was much better than the advertisements showed. I really like the first episode of this show. I've missed too much Nip/Tuck already and will have to make that up with DVDs, but FX is putting out great work. And the Shield is the best show on tv.
