Pink Rose - Kiyommy & Seiya Drop Out -NW260 Higher - NM feat. Sunny --- Meh. Very distinctly American. Konami's obviously trying to get away from the Japanese origins of DDR and make it more mainstream. I guess they're doing a good job, but I like the Japanese stuff much more than the American stuff, so it doesn't sit well with me. Especially since the American songs have generally had very boring, lazy steps. I can't see myself buying this, since there's no songs that I really want off it that I don't already have. I didn't like Max2 USA either, but at least it had Tsugaru, Breakdown, So Deep, Burning Heat and Twilight Zone. Even if you didn't import the vastly superior DDR Extreme JP, this still is kind of lacking in terms of bringing the good songs off of DDR Extreme Arcade to the US. I don't expect them all, but I expect more than this. Come on, where's A, V, Sakura, Cartoon Heroes, Daikenkai, Irresistablement, Destiny Lovers...? There's also not enough catas and ten footers for veteran players. It seems kind of newbie focused. Oh well. I guess I'm just jaded.
Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Report post Posted July 26, 2004 The theme from Enter the Dragon kills any song ever.

Guest TheBigCalbowski Report post Posted July 26, 2004 It's got Can't Stop Falling In Love (Speed Mix) on it so I'm happy. I don't have an X-Box so no Ultramix for me. I'm sure Legend Of Max will be on it. I'm sure Sakura and Bag will be on it since US versions usually get the songs by RevenG. Maybe we'll get the PS and PSM. Maybe an extr hidden surprise will be Max(period)

Anya 0 Report post Posted July 27, 2004 I've been trying to expand my arcade playing beyond T4 and have started playing SC II and one of the arcade versions of DDR. It's fun, but god I'm horrible.

chirs3 0 Report post Posted July 29, 2004 Hold up: Your Rain (Rage Mix) - Akira Yamaoka feat. Mary Elizabeth McGlynn I don't suppose anyone knows a place to download this song, huh? I'm pretty sure the song, non-Rage Mix, is off the Silent Hill 4 soundtrack, and I'd like to see how the Rage Mix is different. You can grab the normal version here: http://www.silenceisbroken.com/soundofsilence/index_.html
Renegade 0 Report post Posted July 31, 2004 I'm not sure why Jet world got a nod but across the nightmare didn't, it's hands down the best guitar freaks song that went onto DDR.
