Phoenix Fury Legdrop 0 Report post Posted July 29, 2004 AMW win in a good Southern-style tag match, but Team Canada attack after the match. Team Goldilocks vs. D-Ray & Shark Boy up now.
Phoenix Fury Legdrop 0 Report post Posted July 29, 2004 Abyss & Shelley win with a Black Hole Slam on D-Ray, but Abyss didn't seem too happy with anyone after the match. Speaking of after the match, for some odd reason, Desire jumped Goldilocks after the match. Young/Posey next.
Phoenix Fury Legdrop 0 Report post Posted July 29, 2004 Fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck... David Young did the J.O.B. to Mike Posey. Very reminescent of a midget comedy match. After the match, Young gets turned on by Gilbertti and Swinger.
Phoenix Fury Legdrop 0 Report post Posted July 29, 2004 Backstage segment leading to Siaki/Abyss being set up for next week, and Goldilocks calls Desire a "hooch" in about seventeen different forms. Raven/Sabu stuff up next.

Phoenix Fury Legdrop 0 Report post Posted July 29, 2004 Raven came out and threatened to burn the Sheik's clothing and Sonjay Dutt (who he had in a bodybag) alive, until Sabu finally came out. They brawled until security (including M-Dogg20, Nick Berk, and Z-Barr) came out and seperated them. Naturals/XXX up next.
Phoenix Fury Legdrop 0 Report post Posted July 29, 2004 Naturals d. XXX thanks to a distraction from Scott D'Amore. Team Canada attacks XXX after the match before AMW runs them off.
Magus 0 Report post Posted July 29, 2004 the Raven segment sounds like it was cool as hell. threatening to burn people alive = over. i'm dreading a fued between Double G and the Coconut Pervert vs. David Young. but hell, they're jobbers, so what matter does it really make? Phoenix Fury Legdrop 0 Report post Posted July 29, 2004 (edited) Hardy beat Monty Brown with a roll-up after Brown shoved down Jarrett for pulling him away from the Swanton (weird, I know). 3LK chase Brown & Jarrett from beating on Hardy after the match. Then, Dusty Rhodes gets pissed off at something that Vince Russo says that we can't hear. Ultimate X next, and Michael Shane is making Hardy look like Bruiser Brody in his manliness, wearing a way-too-short shiny vest. Exslade ZX 0 Report post Posted July 29, 2004 Holy shit...Michael Shane looks like a gay stripper with what he's wearing.

Guest Donners Report post Posted July 29, 2004 It wasn't a trainwreck, so I guess that's about as good as you can expect from the match. Not sure what's going on with Dusty/Russo, but as long as it doesn't lead to a match between them, I don't care.

Exslade ZX 0 Report post Posted July 29, 2004 Quick question...is the belt higher then the other Ultimate X matches? It looks pretty damn high tonight..
Magus 0 Report post Posted July 29, 2004 I'm just glad that they didn't throw Killings to the wayside and forget all about him. hopefully he'll actually have a match next week.
Guest whitemilesdavis Report post Posted July 29, 2004 I've liked the Raven/ Sheik angle all along. The X-match has the potential to be great. I'll wait for the review to see if I'll have to find the tape. PPV don't happen here.
Phoenix Fury Legdrop 0 Report post Posted July 29, 2004 Kazarian & Shane both won Ultimate X, and are now co-owners of the X belt after coming down at the same time holding it. Kid Kash bashed a crutch over AJ's knee as he was right at the belt, causing him to lose. AJ had some crazy stuff (Styles Clash off of the wires, skinning the cat on the wires), but overall, the match has been done better.
Magus 0 Report post Posted July 29, 2004 goddamnit. it ALWAYS sucks when you have co-owners of a title. and this particularly sucks because Kazarian wasn't a great X Champion, and Shane was an absolutely shitty X Champion. why don't we throw Sonny Siaki in there too and make it a 3-Way Ownership? idiots. at least Kash/Styles is still going, which i'm grateful for. the X Division just isn't going to shine with guys like Shane and Kazarian as its top stars. TNA needs to be a bit more discriminating on who they let into the X Division, especially who they give the freakin' belt to.
Guest whitemilesdavis Report post Posted July 29, 2004 Kazarian & Shane both won Ultimate X, and are now co-owners of the X belt after coming down at the same time holding it. What?!? No, No, No. Well, no tape for me this week. No need to wait for the review.
Guest TDinDC1112 Report post Posted July 29, 2004 but overall, the match has been done better. Really? How? I thought the match was tremendous. It was high impact spot after high impact spot. The ending sucked, but that doesn't take away from the action that happened.
slimm44 0 Report post Posted July 29, 2004 Wow I'm surprised nobody mentioned anything about Raven grabbing the lighter instead of the mic during his segment. Anyways, tonight's show was decent. All the matches were awesome. Jeff Hardy again gets the biggest pop and brought everyone to their feet. It was a good idea to have him go over Monty Brown but the whole Dusty/Russo thing killed the excitement. Many were mad that AJ lost and Kazarian/Shane won and after the show people started throwing things in the ring. One idiot missed the ring completely and hit a kid three seats over from me. Security was all over the person who threw it, I believe the kid was okay. Jeremy Borash ended the night by asking people to stop throwing things, and have a good night. TheBigSwigg 0 Report post Posted July 29, 2004 I swear, they better have an X Title match on Impact or I'm going to kill someone. Side note: I just realized the reason they did the co-champion angle is because Kazarian and Shane have been working together as a team to get AJ. Good angle, bad execution. YET AGAIN. Guest Dynamite Kido Report post Posted July 29, 2004 They really had Shane/Kazarian do the co-champion thing? FUCKING TERRIBLE. Either build up one or the other.....they have offically found a way to kill the x-division now.....good job TNA.
Guest whitemilesdavis Report post Posted July 29, 2004 TNA loves to do co-champs, hold up belts etc. Don't they understand that fans hate that. Getting hit with garbage should help.
