Oh well, at least the debates will be interesting -- THEY SPEAK SO WELL (kkk-ommentary in boldface). EDIT: Damnit. "an foe"? I first put "opponent," but there wasn't enough space, so I changed it to "foe" but forgot to take out the "n." Grumble...

The "Link for your source" is your friend. Don't be afraid of it...

Barack Obama officially has an opponate. opponate?

Former Presidential candidate Alan Keys formally announced his run as Illinois' Republican Candidate for the U.S. senate.

The race between Keyes and Obama sets up the first U.S. senate election between two black candidates representing the major parties. It's all about the White Vote, baby

It will lock in that the next Illinois U.S Senator will be the 5th black senator in U.S. history.

Keyes replaces Jack Ryan, who stepped down in June, when embarrassing allegations from his divorce records were made public.

Republican state leaders asked Keyes just last week to be the party's nominee.

Keyes has never lived in Illinois.

First they spelled Keyes without an "e" and then with an "e"

Which one is it?

And he thinks he can win even though he has never lived there? Really?

Yeah, and Keyes criticized her for being a carpetbagger

Either way, Obama is going to spank him, end of story

Oh, fine. I'll throw in the nugget.

I deeply resent the destruction of federalism represented by Hillary Clinton's willingness go into a state she doesn't even live in and pretend to represent people there, so I certainly wouldn't imitate it.

Definitely not!

He's a career also-ran, so I'm sure Obama isn't exactly worried.

They are running Keyes because:

1. Everyone knows that Obama will win by a huge margin, so they arn't going to waste a candidate that might have any value in the future.

2. Keyes can smear Obama with no fear of hurting his own reputation, given that he has none.

3. Keyes will get plenty of material for his talk radio shows.
