Tell me about the following games

I'm going to buy some more games for my new toy (X-Box).

Your thoughts on these two games?

Star Wars:Knights of the Old Republic

Elder Scrolls:Morrowind

Buy both. NOW.

Amazing, in-depth RPGs. Star Wars: KOTOR had me particularly addictive, and has the most fun battle system I had ever played with. I can't wait till Jade Empire comes out.

There's an EB Games 5 minutes way from my bus stop, I know I'm getting ESPN Football 2K5... so for today it's just one more on top of that.

Get KOTOR for now, and Morrowind for later. Morrowind is an extremely involved game, but maybe that's just my personal preference that I don't like to delve into an extremely deep game because then I won't even bother playing anything else.

Excellent choice on ESPN over Madden, by the way. ;)

I've read so many reviews that tell me that ESPN blows Madden away.

You can do a re-draft in ESPN right?

ESPN does blow Madden away in most of the categories that it needs to. Yes.

And you can do a fantasy draft if that's what you are talking about.

Also pick up KOTOR while you are at it.

I'm buying ESPN in a few weeks....there's a Coke/ESPN Video Games promotions with collecting 10 codes off of bottlecaps and then getting $10 off any ESPN title ≥ $19.95 w/ free shipping (awesome!)

KOTOR (Knights of the old........) is the best damn RPG for the XBX. One of the top selling games in Xbox history (next to halo of course), so definately pick up KOTOR and get halo someday.

Morrowind crashes on all Xboxes that do not have Samsung hard drives. Otherwise it's a kickass game... but IT CRASHES. So do not buy it. Unless you know your hard drive.

KOTOR is perfectly fine though. Aside from the bugs.

I haven't really quite experienced any terrible bugs on KOTOR. I know there's a list of them at GameFAQs, but I still never got any of them. Maybe I was just lucky.

And how would one know if they have the Samsung hard drive or not?

Knights of the Old Republic: Yes.

Morrowind: No, dear God no.

Get Rainbow Six 3, or Rainbow Six 3: Black Arrow.

If you get X-Box Live, the two RB6:3 games kick ass.

KOTOR is addictive, and fun, and possibly the best game the X-Box has going for it, in my humble opinion. After watching my fiance play it for weeks on end, I got interested and tried it out. Neither of us are huge Star Wars fans or anything, but the game is fantastic. Good storyline, good gameplay, lots of options.. it's well worth your cash. It's definitely got replay value as well.

But yeah, beware the bugs.. that's its only real downfall. Most of them are easily avoided though, I think, if the gamefaqs boards are to be believed.

Buy it, do it now.. the sequel is coming!

KOTOR is fucking awesome. I don't even like RPGs, but, I liked this game, though.

I can't wait for KOTOR 2.

As for Morrowind..... I've never played it.
