Guest Frank_Nabbit Posted August 19, 2004 Report Posted August 19, 2004 The Ringer Directed by Barry W. Blaustein This comedy is about two guys who decide to rig the Special Olympics to pay off a debt by having one of them, Steve (Johnny Knoxville), pose as a contestant in the games, hoping to dethrone reigning champion, Jimmy. Mentally-challenged high jinks and hilarity surely follow.
Guest El Satanico Posted August 19, 2004 Report Posted August 19, 2004 South Park did it He should be named Timmy instead of Steve "criiiippleee fiiiight"
King Kamala Posted August 19, 2004 Report Posted August 19, 2004 I saw this trailer before Napoleon Dynamite, doesn't look like anything special or original. Johnny Knoxville hasn't really done anything worthwhile since Jackass (And even then I think Bam Margera was the star of the show. His stuff was slightly less homoerotic than Johnny and Steve O's stuff)
HollywoodSpikeJenkins Posted August 19, 2004 Report Posted August 19, 2004 Knoxville was in Big Trouble. Thats an underrated comedy.
Ravenbomb Posted August 19, 2004 Report Posted August 19, 2004 Knoxville was in Big Trouble. why, what did he do?
MarvinisaLunatic Posted August 19, 2004 Report Posted August 19, 2004 Knoxville was in Big Trouble. Thats an underrated comedy. Big Trouble was horribe and it wasn't that funny.
1234-5678 Posted August 19, 2004 Report Posted August 19, 2004 Knoxville was in Big Trouble. Thats an underrated comedy. Big Trouble was horribe and it wasn't that funny. Ditto. I can honestly say it was one of the stupidest movies I have ever seen. Only funny scene was with Jason Lee and Tom Sizemore in the bar. "Hey..........give that back."
LatinAssasin Posted August 20, 2004 Report Posted August 20, 2004 Knoxville was in Big Trouble. why, what did he do? Oh man, this made me laugh so much. But yeah, South Park did this not too long ago. It should be good though. I've usually found Johnny Knoxville funny, even when he's not doing Jackass stunts.
Guest Razor Roman Posted August 21, 2004 Report Posted August 21, 2004 But it's from the director that brought you BEYOND THE MAT!!! Plus, he wrote Nutty Professor for Eddie Murphy. Ok, "Women Be shoppin'" IS a lot funnier that this idea.
