frisco 0 Report post Posted August 20, 2004 The Dragon sits restfully in her brown leather recliner. An soothing incense is burning in the room as she closes her eyes and lets her mind wander. It’s eight o’clock and she knows Frisco will be over shortly to take her to the Alamo Dome for her match with Tom Flesher. As her mind relaxes she still has images of her last match against Jamie Drazon. The thought of her getting jack-hammered into the folding chair is vivid in her mind. The unsettling feeling of hearing the referee count one-two-three and not being able to do anything still haunts her. She can only imagine how tonights encounter with the self-professed Superior One will go. As the last puffs of the incense fade into the air the Dragon gets up from her chair and grabs her duffle bag. She heads out the door and down the stairs to her front door. A pile of mail is awaiting her as she continues to wait for Frisco’s arrival. She sorts through the letters which reveal a surprisingly good mix of hate mail and—gasp fan mail. She can only imagine the look on Frisco’s face is he knew some people were actually fans of the Dragon. That was the furthest thing from what he wanted. As she reached the end of the mail she was surprised to see a hand written post card. A smile graced her face as she immediately recognized the writing as Lobo’s. Dear Candace Good luck in your match against Tom Flesher. You’ll need it ! Take Care Love Always Lobo As she looked at the letters she suddenly heard a car horn barking. A long black Limo was waiting outside her door. She grabbed her duffle bag and headed out placing the mail on her phone table. To the Dragons surprise A very tall, muscular black man in a chauffers suit was waiting for her. As he held the door open the Dragon immediately felt ill at ease. Inside the car Frisco was going over some paper work. The Dragon looked at the man who smiled a wide, toothy grin that seemed almost sincere. “Good morning Ms. Okamurra!” he said in a deep baritone. “My name is Mr. Tanner and I will be assisting you and Mr. Frisco from now on.” The Dragon was immediately taken back by the size of the man. He stood at least six four and looked like a defensive lineman for the Chicago Bears. His shoulders were massive and he looked to weight close to 350 pounds. Unlike Lobo there was not a lot of fat on this guy as he appeared in incredible physical condition. The Dragon smiled and entered the car. As she sat down Frisco seemed totally absorbed in his paperwork. “Who is this man?” The Dragon asked as Frisco finally realized she was even there. “That’s Tanner” he barked as he continued with his reading. “He’s taking over for Lobo” "He's going to be at ringside tonight?" The Dragon asked in amazement. "No. He's just driving us there tonight. He'll be at the back. Maybe next week he'll come out with us but he's new and I don't think he's ready for ring detail yet" Frisco replied. "Now just take a breather because I have some work to do" As Mr. Tanner got into the car the Dragon felt very uneasy. The car started and the group made their way to the Alamo Dome.
