Lord of The Curry

Make a statement

Recommended Posts

Statement: WWE needs to quite going to the Rock and other stars from the past to promote their present and future stars.

Rebutal: Totally false. The Rock is easily one of the most charismatic and entertaining workers ever. He always pops a high rating, and his sporadic appearences on RAW are always the highlight of every show.

Counter rebuttal: Wrong. No matter how popular the Rock is, he is retired and constantly relying on him for the cheap pop makes it that much harder to put over future stars. They shouldn't have to use the Rock, Hogan, Foley or whoever to put people over today.

Counter to your counter: The pop the Rock gets is far from Cheap. The crowd genuinely loves him, and all the heat he draws is from his outstanding work on the mic. Even though they never capitalized on it, The Rock single handedly took The Hurricane from being a bottom of the card comedy gimmick to a potential main event player. A majority of Eugene's popularity can also be attibuted to that one segment with The Rock as well. I'll agree with Foley and others being used for cheap pops, but The Rock is no where's near that territory.

In addition to the previous rebuttal: The Rock should come back more often because at least he can still put on a good match. There is also some dream matches that I would like to see happen.

Rebuttal: Nope, HHH is as good a face as Angle. So no fly..............

False, Angle can be entertaining as a face. HHH is not.

With the same girls? Aren't they all fired?

Jackie wasn't fired, and Terri I think was quietly given her release on good terms.

Both were given their release.

Statement: Kidman's a one-move guy who isn't even the best in the company at preforming his "signature move". His skills aren't up to the rest of the division, and always seems to tag with someone more talented than he is.

Rebuttal: I'd say he's better than Scotty Too Hotty, and perhaps Spike too. Although Spike overall is more entertaining than Mr. Vanilla.

Statement: The FU is, beyond doubt, the worst finisher in the company.

Rebuttal: I think that honour goes to the Worm. But the FU is up there.

At least we don't see it just about every week, in fairly important matches. The Worm is more so there just to get a pop from the fans, like the Stinkface, and isn't meant to be taken seriously like the FU.

When it comes down to it, taking everything into account I'd say the FU is a lot worse.

Statement: Undertaker will pick up the pace for his match at No Mercy and will help Bradshaw get over like he did with Lesnar.

False. Unlike with Lesnar, he's in the deadman gimmick now.

REBUTTAL: Kidman has really stepped up his game recently, and while he isn't back to his 98/99 form, he appears to have found his niche once again, using a style that's reminicent of an 'old school speed' wrestler. His parts in the London/Kidman-Dudleys matches have been reminding me of some of the big guy/little guy tag matches I've seen of the late 80s and early 90s, and he's puling off the style surprsingly well. I never thought I'd say this, but working with the Dudleys seems to have really helped him a lot, and I get the feeling he's more motivated now, leading to far better performances. He's consistently been wrestling his best matches since bulking up.

And as CC said, he's certainly better than Scotty, which immediately prevents him from being called worst in the division.

Statement: Kenzo Suzuki, having survived the New Japan Dojo system, is well more talented than the WWE let him be.

Further statement: The same can be said of most of the workers in the WWE

Further statement: If the WWE let go of it's Nanny State philosophy and let workers do what the wanted in the ring, on the provisio that they and the opponent were comfortable with it, the matches would be roughly 10 times better than they already are, which would lead to a snowballing effect on the company becoming more successful

Rebuttal: Suzki's style just isn't entertaining to the WWE type of fans.

Statement: They should move Hurricane back to Smackdown, and give Rosey a big show type gimmick.

Considering the fact that UT's job meant nothing the next month I wouldn't disagree with you.

Rebuttal: Is it Undertakers fault the crowd began to cheer Brock, thus turning him face? If Brock would have remained a heel, maybe things would've been different, but I'm not the ghost of Christmas Future or something, so I can't tell what could've been.

Uh, when did I say that it was UT's fault the crowd began to cheer Brock?

I said that UT's job meant nothing (which it did) because Brock dropped the title for no reason to Big Show the next month.

I wasn't quoting you directly, just the statement. And Brock was a heel when he fought Taker. Taker put him over clean (or as clean as possible). Three weeks later, Brock turns face for no reason, gets injured by Show, and has to lose the title to him.

False, the title was removed from Brock due to his broken rib.

Undertaker's job to Brock wasn't clean by the way. He had a broken hand.

And he got the job back. He beat Lesnar and Show in a HANDICAP match, and won, eventually pinning Brock. Even with Heyman cheating on their behalf.

And then afterwards, this generous locker room leader who does the right thing for the business, challenged Vince McMahon to a buried alive match. Who he did a job for.

The UT put Brock over. Bull fucking shit.

And this is a guy who once threatened HBK for not wanting to job.

Statement: "You Can't See Me" is the worst catchphrase currently being used regularly in the company.

Rebuttal: AS is just too white.

Actually, a good rebuttal to my own statement would be "The Champ is HERE!"

Yeah, I don't really get that one when he's not the champ. But I guess he's just saying that he really should be the champ since he got screwed out of the title.

Yeah, I don't really get that one when he's not the champ.

Hell, even Road Dogg adjusted to a new, non-champ catchphrase.

Rebuttal(To Cena's catchphrases): It don't matter if he isn't the champion, he could be meaning he is the peoples champ. Muhammad Ali invented the catchphrase "The champ is here" leading up to the fight with George Foreman. And he wasn't even the heavyweight champion at the title.

And like somewhat said AS your too white, and have no idea about the hip-hop lifestyle, as you do not understand "You Can't See Me". So just shut up, because your speaking on somthing you have no clue about. John Cena never invented the catchphrase, Hip-Hop artist invented it, and 2Pac made it famous.

Re-Rebuttal: If his NFL career fails, he will have to return because thats the only way he could make money.

Alot of NFL and NBA wrestlers actually enjoy wrestling. Even teammates of Lesnar like Hovan have told Lesnar they were fans of his in the ring.
