Ravenbomb Posted August 26, 2004 Report Posted August 26, 2004 Just curious how many people watched it. They were making a big deal out of it, understanably so. It seemed like Kerry was trying too hard to laugh some of the time, but other than that it was pretty good.
LivingLegendGaryColeman Posted August 26, 2004 Report Posted August 26, 2004 The interview was okay, but I really respect him to go on a show like that. Some people think it may hurt their image, but I think it helped him with the younger generation more than hurt him at all. Speaking of the image thing, anyone hear how Laura Bush backed out of an event she knew P. Diddy was at? Whether you like P. Diddy or not, I thought the move was rather classless, as P. Diddy is actually running a campaign out of his own money for people to vote. Granted he isn't the best role model and he has tons of money, but he didn't need to and is trying to get people to vote. I think hearing that, around the same time with the Kerry appearance, helps Kerry a bit. While he did seem to be trying a little hard, it's little things like that which may influence the outcome.
Placebo Effect Posted August 26, 2004 Report Posted August 26, 2004 Not a great interview like the Clinton one, but good nonetheless.

Guest MikeSC Posted August 26, 2004 Report Posted August 26, 2004 ...sane people? Nah, that'd be people who avoid HD. -=Mike ..Or would that be bright people?
Ravenbomb Posted August 28, 2004 Author Report Posted August 28, 2004 If you're referring to me, then yes. I try not to follow politics too closely, so I really have no reason to go into the Current Events folder.
