Guest Rain On Your Parade Report post Posted August 26, 2004 Featured in Wrestling Oberver this week, "Bobbi Billard, the ex-Playboy model who briefly worked in developmental until suffering a neck injury, underwent double vertebrae fusion neck surgery under Dr. Lloyd Youngblood (taken care of by WWE), so that answers the legitimacy of her injuries while in OVW." Billard's story is ringing even more true now that they picked up the tab for her injury. I don't think that WWE would have paid for the rather expensive surgery had they not felt that they were at fault or were worried about a potential lawsuit. And it is a bit telling that the extent of her injuries were such that it required such an extensive surgery don't you think? More info and photos @ http://www.livejournal.com/users/bobbibillard/19912.html http://www.mobog.com/bobbibillard Nice to see it only took Bobbi having to go through surgery for the Wrestling community to finally believe her! It's about time they started writing some truth in what they say about Bobbi Billard! I hope Dr. Tom is eating his words about her sitting out of practice with a stomach-ache! Guest Anglesault Report post Posted August 26, 2004 I thought Vince did stuff like that pretty often. He paid for Eddie's rehab, for instance.

Yeah, Vicne is pretty good with that stuff, though usually he keeps it to the wrestlers. I think he tried or did pay for rehab for Jeff Hardy and X-pac IIRC. Guest wildpegasus Report post Posted August 26, 2004 I don't know about this board but I was one of the guys who said that Billard was telling the truth when she was saying how hurt she was. People thought that just because she was built well that she couldn't take it which annoyed me. On the other side of the coin I didn't that line of thinking blind me into believing that she was being truthful in her statements. Still, I sensed she was telling the truth. Now, the question is this. How did she get hurt so badly? Were the trainers extra hard on her because she's a knockout model or was it because she couldn't take bumps right? Perhaps a matter of both? Whatever the answer is we don't really know. What we do know is that some people owe Billard an apology (Fans and Tom Pritchard) for doubting her injuries because the end result proves that Billard was severely hurt. (And there's NOTHING that gets me angrier than someone doubting someone's injuries because there' s nothing more insulting than that) I also think this is another case against the practise of backyard wrestling and should make people think twice about preforming it. WWE coverup? Perhaps so.

Isn't he paying for Waltman's current rehab too, or at least part of it with Trips.
