UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted August 27, 2004 Report Posted August 27, 2004 The "bikini" song used for the WWE Diva Search is The Hives' single "Walk Idiot Walk". The chorus includes: See the idiot walk. See the idiot talk. Still you never learned nothing... See the robot walk. See the robot talk. Still you never learned nothing... ... How fitting for the talented girls.
Guest Evolution Posted August 27, 2004 Report Posted August 27, 2004 Oh yeah, I noticed this as soon as it started playing for their gyrating bodies. I figured you guys have already picked up on this in some Raw thread, so I didn't bother bringing it up.
benoit4hor Posted August 27, 2004 Report Posted August 27, 2004 Yeah but whats the Unforgiven theme? That is kind of amusing though.
AndrewTS Posted August 27, 2004 Report Posted August 27, 2004 It's still not as funny as them playing Creed-Lite: Now With 20% Less Douchebag when one of them is sent packing, though.

Aero Posted August 27, 2004 Report Posted August 27, 2004 Yeah but whats the Unforgiven theme? I think it's Saliva's "Survival of the Sickest".

I was trying to remember which other music choice was pretty funny and extremely out of place, and that would definitely be the one. I'm not entirely sure what the WWE is trying to accomplish by playing popular songs with the 18-49 male demographic. It doesn't make me enjoy the Diva Search any more, that's for sure.
iliketurtles Posted August 29, 2004 Report Posted August 29, 2004 If WWE had any type of humor, they'd have HHH make a desire video for Eugene to the Idiot song.
Guest Bad Brad Jacobs Posted August 29, 2004 Report Posted August 29, 2004 either that or 'lets get retarded' by BEP.

Plus, WWE's main audience these days are males in their 30's...

Can't get enough of Saliva ya know Damn good theme, and they hyped it what.....once on Raw this week? With the PPV two weeks away, you think they would be all over it by now.

UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted August 31, 2004 Author Report Posted August 31, 2004 Where did I say it "took me this long"... I only felt like mentioning it now. great post, btw.
Toshiaki Koala Posted September 1, 2004 Report Posted September 1, 2004 Or Born Again Idiot by Anthrax More appropriate for Shawn Michaels, perhaps?
LaParkaYourCar Posted September 5, 2004 Report Posted September 5, 2004 Here's full lyrics because what was listed above is at the end of the song. Well, is it true what they say about it? They say it's new, but I have to doubt it And then they tell you everything about it Had enough? I got some people saying this way I got some people saying that way I got some people saying there's no way Ain't it tough? See the idiot walk See the idiot talk See the idiot chalk up his name on the blackboard See the robot walk See the robot talk See the robot write up his name on the ballot They say, this is all I need to get by The truth is, baby, it's a lie ooh! Well is it true what they say about it? You oughta do what I do and doubt it He won and know he's gonna do something about it Ain't it sad? And if you don't wanna feel like a putz collect the clues and connect the dots you see the pattern that is bursting your bubble And it's bad! See the idiot walk See the idiot talk See the idiot chalk up his name on the blackboard They say, this is all I need to get by The truth is, baby, it's a lie its a.. its a lie-ie-ie-ie-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh! This is what it boils down to.. If you review the winning combination Body at work and a mind on vacation Who had the brain where it started to sink in? It was you! You've seen the idiot walk Seen the idiot talk But you never learned nothing And nothing isn't over See the robot walk See the robot talk Still you never learned nothing And nothing isn't over They say, this is all I need to get by The truth is, baby, it's a lie
