"in the early 80's one of the local channels in l.a. (5), showed 'sat afternoon movies'. one of the films in about an 18 month rotation was about a killer whale near a coastal town becoming 'friendly' with some local folk, until some ne'er do wells feed him a fish stuffed with fishhooks, whale goes nuts, and i kinda forget the rest. am i spending too much time with tobacco alternatives??"

The angry male orca, after grieving the loss of its mate & offspring, seeks revenge against Captain Nolan. He causes serious damage to a fishing town where Nolan is hiding out, and lures Nolan, Rachel Bedford (a biologist) and a Native American to an ice field for a final confrontation...on HIS terms.

It just sounded so retarded that it had nothing to do with the above info. So....Whales take things personally and avenge other whales? Maybe it's Free Willie!
WrestlingDeacon Posted August 30, 2004 Author Report Posted August 30, 2004 I actually went through the imdb and looked for everything with whale in the title and nothing matched. I've seen Orca several times and knowing the basic plot I knew it didn't match. It's a pretty blatant Jaws ripoff. To my knowledge there are no Orca sequels.
