Guest The Winter Of My Discontent Posted August 31, 2004 Report Posted August 31, 2004 I want to die. Help me.
Guest The Winter Of My Discontent Posted August 31, 2004 Report Posted August 31, 2004 How long you been up? Its not how long I've been up, its how long I am going to be up, and how many days this will drag on. It happens the same time every week.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted August 31, 2004 Report Posted August 31, 2004 Quit drinking coffee and pop. I'm also a naturally wound up person who never sleeps. I don't really get that tired though. What you need to do is break the cycle your brain is on right now, and you can do that by drugging yourself.
Guest The Winter Of My Discontent Posted August 31, 2004 Report Posted August 31, 2004 I need drugs. And I've cut caffeine out of my diet. I haven't a clue why this is happening. Maybe I should start excercising.
the max Posted August 31, 2004 Report Posted August 31, 2004 Drink some caffeine-free Ginger Ale. I don't know why, but that stuff knocks me out. I have the same problem, Banky.
Guest The Winter Of My Discontent Posted August 31, 2004 Report Posted August 31, 2004 I have the same problem, Banky. Man, I feel your pain. I don't wish this upon anyone. And its turning me into such a pussy.
the max Posted August 31, 2004 Report Posted August 31, 2004 How many hours of sleep do you get on a night that you actually sleep? Typically, I get two if I'm lucky. I think mine is triggered by stress though.
Guest The Winter Of My Discontent Posted August 31, 2004 Report Posted August 31, 2004 Plenty. Its just I'll go three straight says without sleep, then 4 with. Its a cycle. A hellacious cycle. My dad's a doctor, maybe I should ask him?
the max Posted August 31, 2004 Report Posted August 31, 2004 That's what I would do. Especially if it isn't a recurring, every night kind of thing like mine is. Although, I've had what you have, with not sleeping for a few days, then going to a normal sleep cycle, and I don't think it's very healthy at all.

And again, I'll be up to watch regis and FUCKING Kathy Lee. I haven't a clue what I'll do if this persists during school.
Lord of The Curry Posted August 31, 2004 Report Posted August 31, 2004 This may or may not depending on the person but smoking a joint usually knocks me right out or at least helps me get faded/tired.
Guest The Winter Of My Discontent Posted August 31, 2004 Report Posted August 31, 2004 I fell asleep immedietly after leaving this website. Thanks for curing my insomnia, TSM! Hopefully it won't happen tonight, wait, but saying that I've probably already lost half of the battle.
Guest Fire and Knives Posted August 31, 2004 Report Posted August 31, 2004 I've got the same problem and it usually keeps me up for a couple of days at a time. I tried cutting out caffiene too - no luck. The only things I've found that help at all are working out and/or smoking lots of pot. I'm sure there's some kind of medical solution, but I doubt it's as healthy as mine. K.
Guest The Winter Of My Discontent Posted August 31, 2004 Report Posted August 31, 2004 I am going to try to work out an hour or so before bedtime. See if that works. Who knows though.
... Posted August 31, 2004 Report Posted August 31, 2004 Did BANKYWOOD ask you to hit him as hard as you could?
1234-5678 Posted August 31, 2004 Report Posted August 31, 2004 Have you tried Tylenol PMs, NyQuil, or Whiskey?
Guest Vitamin X Posted August 31, 2004 Report Posted August 31, 2004 Have you tried Tylenol PMs, NyQuil, or Whiskey? Ah fuck, that's your solution to everything.
Sass Posted September 1, 2004 Report Posted September 1, 2004 Banky, lay on your back and place your hands underneath your ass and raise your legs (held together) 6 inches above the ground for 2 minutes. Repeat this as many times as you can until your stomach feels like it is about to slip out of your ass. This should tire you out enough and it'll also work out your gut. Try it.
Guest The Winter Of My Discontent Posted September 1, 2004 Report Posted September 1, 2004 Thats weird. I'll try it. But doesn't that get one's endorphans flowing and raging thus winding one up too tight.
Sass Posted September 1, 2004 Report Posted September 1, 2004 It should tire you out since you're going for shutdown or "dead zone" as some of my jockier friends call it. It works for me if I can't get some good sleep.
Guest Contentious C Posted September 1, 2004 Report Posted September 1, 2004 I fell asleep immediately after leaving this website. Thanks for curing my insomnia, TSM! Here's their new catchphrase.
1234-5678 Posted September 1, 2004 Report Posted September 1, 2004 Have you tried Tylenol PMs, NyQuil, or Whiskey? Ah fuck, that's your solution to everything. Not impotence.
Guest The Winter Of My Discontent Posted September 3, 2004 Report Posted September 3, 2004 Banky, lay on your back and place your hands underneath your ass and raise your legs (held together) 6 inches above the ground for 2 minutes. Repeat this as many times as you can until your stomach feels like it is about to slip out of your ass. This should tire you out enough and it'll also work out your gut. Try it. This didn't help as I am still awake.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted September 3, 2004 Report Posted September 3, 2004 Go to the corner drugstore and buy a small thing of Sleeping Pills. They work.
Guest The Winter Of My Discontent Posted September 3, 2004 Report Posted September 3, 2004 Go to the corner drugstore and buy a small thing of Sleeping Pills. They work. That would ultimately lead to trouble. I'm gonna try to beat this with excercise.
1234-5678 Posted September 3, 2004 Report Posted September 3, 2004 Exercise has never helped anyone with anything.
Guest ian. Posted September 3, 2004 Report Posted September 3, 2004 Try Tylenol PM, like suggested earlier. I know this chick who was a hardcore insomniac and went through all of the perscription shit, and this is the only thing that worked for her. Don't get addicted though, it's got painkillers that will hurt your liver if you use it often for a long time.
