Ah, and someone thankfully clued tylenol into this, which led to them producing Tylenol: Simply Sleep, which is just the Benadryl in the PMs that puts people under.

I am also an insomniac. I have basically given up trying to go to sleep at a decent hour. I am not sure what I am going to do when I get out of college and have to work the 9-5 crap. Now I can sleep in the afternoon after my classes end unless I have baseball practice or a game. I think I am basically fucked. Today is a good example, it is 8:16 a.m. on a saturday morning, I did not party last night and I have not yet gone to sleep.

Alcohol is a great help. I've never ever ever had trouble falling asleep while on the piss.

EDIT: pun intended, sweetie.

Benydryl or Chlor-Trimeton. The latter works best with me. Basically any anti-histemine makes you drowsy, and taking 2 about an hour before bed should help knock you out. That's the whole key to Tylenol PM, it's Tylenol and anti-histemine. If you don't have pain it's safer just to skip the Tylenol part. I have sleep troubles too so I take 2 Chlor-Trimetons (generic brand Cholorotabs, usually green container can be found at any drug store) a night and it usually helps me sleep. More like if I don't take them I usually can't get to sleep, but then again I'm supposed to be taking allergy medecine anyway, so that justifies it for me.
