kkktookmybabyaway 0 Report post Posted August 31, 2004 Just curious. And what special features are going to be included in this -- "Jesus, the man behind the myth"?...
Lord of The Curry 0 Report post Posted August 31, 2004 Zero special features. Nada. Zip. Just the movie in wide or fullscreen format.

Guest El Satanico Report post Posted August 31, 2004 There's a trailer... God supports double dipping, yet another reason to be an atheist.
sfaJack 0 Report post Posted August 31, 2004 I wonder if there is an alternate ending.
Youth N Asia 0 Report post Posted August 31, 2004 The alternate ending could be Sam leaping out of Jesus at the last second and waking up as Franco Harris...wait, nevermind, that was Quantim Leap.
Mole 0 Report post Posted August 31, 2004 Is there a preview for the sequel? But no, I won't be buying it. I'll probably get it for my birthday though, instead of Madden 2005.
SamoaRowe 0 Report post Posted August 31, 2004 As a cashier at Best Buy, I noticed that not too many people were purchasing the Passion today. Hellboy and even The Girl Next Door were better sellers (at least out of the customers coming through my line, but I use them as a representation of sales in general, the charts tend to support me). I don't really have any interest in owning the movie, but I couldn't really afford it right now anyway.
Jericholic82 0 Report post Posted September 5, 2004 They had an article in my local paper about the passion not selling well here. On elady was quoted as returning the dvd after watching it for 10 mins-no not because of the violence,no not becuase she found it anti-semtic- but becuase it wasn't in english. I kid you not "Were in america, why cant it be english" is what she is quoted as saying. thats all well and good but I dont think you can return a dvd you already opened, and certainly not due to the language. HELLLO WHAT ROCK HAVE YOU BEEN LIVING UNDER THE PASSION HAS SUBTITLES JESUS (oops i mean my gosh) I belive my theory on californians is being proven true. Guest SP-1 Report post Posted September 5, 2004 When I have the clear money, I will. I noticed it was only 15.99 at both Wal-Mart and Best Buy here. And a sequel would take more than one movie. It would naturally transition into Acts and church history and 2 hours just isn't enough time to cover that properly at all. Though, I wouldn't mind it if Mel were to tackle something like the life of David or the Judges, or Paul's life.
dubq 0 Report post Posted September 5, 2004 There's not even an insert inside the dvd, you know the usual list of chapters, etc... nada. It's pretty barebones, actually. Though, I would've liked to have seen some interviews and behind-the-scenes-while-filming stuff, just to see how the actors prepared for such a brutal task. Positively Kanyon 0 Report post Posted September 6, 2004 They will most definately be releasing some "Good Friday" Special 4-Disc Edition down the track just to cash in on the movie, which is a shame really since it's such a powerful film that the producers (Mel as well?) decided to release a bare bones edition in favour of an upfront "loaded with extras" edition. Double-dipping makes baby Jesus cry...

At the Wal-Mart I work at, the employees in the Electronics Dept. were having a hard time keeping copies of it on the shelf the day it came out. Our store sold half of our first shipment in the first day. Originally posted by Jericholic82 They had an article in my local paper about the passion not selling well here.
