Phoenix Fury Legdrop Posted September 2, 2004 Report Posted September 2, 2004 Ladies and gents, we have a crisis on our hands. We currently live in a world without any Adam Gooch involvement. This saddens us, the Paradise City Ninjas, quite a bit. A world without Adam Gooch is like a woman without a vagina, Freaks and Geeks without Martin Starr, or even a kangaroo without a tail. It just ain't right. As ninjas hailing from Paradise City, we are taking it upon ourselves to do something about this. This is where you, the person reading this, comes into play. We need Adam Gooch back in the IWA. Sure, nerdy Inter'web petitions haven't worked outside of getting Brian Heffron his job with the WWeeeeee back, but we can wish, can't we? Actually, this isn't techncially a petition. It's more like a "really awesome list of names supporting the PCN's cause to bring the awesomeness of Adam Gooch back into our lives." So, please help us by posting after this saying "My name is ________, and I want Adam Gooch back in the IWA." Or, if you have a better idea to aid our cause, let us know. We like people, and sometimes we like their ideas as well. Please have a soul, as only you can help prevent our lives from being sad for one less day by helping out in our mission. Thank you, and Sal Bless.
Guest DeathBecomesYou Posted September 2, 2004 Report Posted September 2, 2004 I agree, we have to see the return of the Gooch. But only if he comes back with the magic marker abs .
Guest suplexmasta Posted September 2, 2004 Report Posted September 2, 2004 My name is suplexmasta, and I want Adam Gooch back in the IWA. There. Happy?
Copper Feel Posted September 2, 2004 Report Posted September 2, 2004 i cyber mark would like to annoce my commitment to the cause of getting this adam gooch fellow into the garbage promotion that is the iwa.
Guest Evolution Posted September 2, 2004 Report Posted September 2, 2004 My name is Evolution, and I have no idea who Adam Gooch is. And IWA is hardly a garbage promotion.
Copper Feel Posted September 2, 2004 Report Posted September 2, 2004 My name is Evolution, and I have no idea who Adam Gooch is. And IWA is hardly a garbage promotion. from the little iwa which ive seen there main events always feature light tubes they use vulgar language and perform in tiny arenas if thats not a garbage promotion i dont know what is.

I don't recall Chris Hero and CM Punk busting out any light tubes. Weird.
Guest The Last Free Voice Posted September 2, 2004 Report Posted September 2, 2004 Is Punk still around? I thought he and Ian were on the outs... Or something.
Phoenix Fury Legdrop Posted September 2, 2004 Author Report Posted September 2, 2004 He's been on almost every Highland show since May, plus wrestled Chris Hero for an hour in Lafayette in June. He's booked on every show during the TPI quadruple-shot, including a title shot against Petey Williams in Evansville, and against Austin Aries in the first round of the TPI. Cyber Mark...dude, catch up on your IWA.
Copper Feel Posted September 2, 2004 Report Posted September 2, 2004 if the iwa is still anthing like the crap that i saw a while back i dont think i want to catch up.
Nevermortal Posted September 2, 2004 Report Posted September 2, 2004 I, Nevermortal want Adam Gooch back in the IWA:MS. Mainly because his name is Gooch.
Phoenix Fury Legdrop Posted September 2, 2004 Author Report Posted September 2, 2004 That's just about ignorance. Pick up just about any tape from this year besides King of the Deathmatches (since it seems like you don't like deathmatches), and you'll see how much of a change IWA has gone through.
Copper Feel Posted September 2, 2004 Report Posted September 2, 2004 i dont mind death matches as long as there not used all the time infact czw tournament of deaths are some of my favourite shows of the year.
Nevermortal Posted September 2, 2004 Report Posted September 2, 2004 I'd like to think of IWA as the most high profile unprofessional professional wrestling show in town (figure that one out!). Aesthetically, the shows look like ass, with their shitty ring, silly commentary, and small crowds, but the in-ring stuff is absolutely top shelf, and Ian breaks the bank to bring in the people that the fans want to see. Give 'em another chance.

Give 'em another chance. Hey, I've set up that shitty ring before! ... And I completely agree. It's a big piece. I've heard rumors that they will be debuting a new ring for TPI that could possibly be less shitty. As for the commentary, I think Prazak put it best that most of the people who watch the IWA-MS shows can watch the screen and now what's going on in the ring, so if Prazak and whoever want to fuck around, they can. It's unprofessional, but I don't hear much complaining about the commentary in some of IWA-MS' best shows.
Guest DeathBecomesYou Posted September 3, 2004 Report Posted September 3, 2004 To be fair though, when there's no goofing around going on, Dave Prazak is a very good commentator. It might just be me, but I think he sometimes adds a lot, for example with the "When Hero met Punk" match, Dave did a great job explaining the history between Punk and Hero, really emphasising how important getting that elusive win was to Hero and when he was marking out on commentary in the closing minutes, I reckon it made the match seem that bit more special/
Mystery Eskimo Posted September 3, 2004 Report Posted September 3, 2004 I kinda like Prazak. And cybermark is the guy who thinks AJ Styles is a terrible wrestler, so I wouldnt worry too much about his opinion of IWA-MS. But anyway, I, Eskimo, want Adam Gooch back in the IWA-MS. As champion.
Copper Feel Posted September 4, 2004 Report Posted September 4, 2004 im sorry that i dont like spottiness and head dropping which is all a.j can do. and you might not have noticed but i asked what iwa shows people would recomend hows that not giving them another chance?
Guest The Last Free Voice Posted September 4, 2004 Report Posted September 4, 2004 Uh, Have you SEEN AJ's matches with American Dragon in ROH? Or his matches with the bigger guys in TNA? (I haven't seen IWAMS, so I can't comment on his stuff there) Dude, I'm convinced you have no clue what your talking about, because I've seen ONE AJ head drop, and that was the botched Clash on Kazarian. And I am defanately getting one of the Ted Petty's on Tape when I get some dough... And why not, bring back Gooch... Seems like a good cause.
