There has been a few people asking for mercy from me in PMs. I usually accomodate their requests, except I drunkenly wanted to amuse myself. Upon returning to the board the next day I remembered I did this and didn't feel any shame. I honestly never knew that my comments held such a strong bearing on an Ivy League student and future Doctor's life.
