And as far as the "game passing Gibbs by" I guess that somehow didn't apply to Dick Vermiel, or the teams that still currently use a Gibbs-like offense.

If Gibbs does well, I'll eat crow, if not, that's that. Although I will say this, as much as Mark Brunell is a decent QB, Gibbs starting him over Patrick Ramsey is not such a hot move IMO. Ramsey has the chance to be the Redskins' QB for many years to come, and yet they are willing to shunt his development just so Gibbs can get his jollies by sticking to his MO of starting aging veterans.

He USED to get injured too much. The man's been pretty much injury-free for 2 years aside from the sprain he suffered during camp, which was minor, anyway. Plus, I wasn't trying to put him over the top 5(Holes, LT, Green, Lewis, Alexander), but being ranked 76 is pretty stupid, IMHO. I am a huge Ramsey fan, but the truth is, he still is showing some ill effects from last year's spurrier campaign. He is slowly shaking off the happy feet and shell-shocked feelings, but Brunell clearly had the better camp and performances in games, and on top of that Brunell is known for not looking that great in the preseason and doing just fine during the season(the opposite of Mr. Rob Johnson ). Ramsey will be the future QB for the Skins and thrive under this system. I actually think now he can settle in and continue to improve as a backup because he doesn't have the pressure of competition, yet he knows he is one snap away from getting into the game. Either way you look at it, our QB situation is good.

Still a good QB, but not deserving of a Top 5 ranking. The problem with Favre over the last few years, is the lack of talent around him as far as WRs go. I mean sometimes I watch him on 3rd and long plays and it looks like he is so mad at his receivers that he just chucks the ball downfield, demanding someone go catch it......

I've always been a Redskins fan, dating back to the John Riggins days to the not so recent Brad Johnson season, but the last few years has gotten me questioning Snyder and the Redskins' choices. But you say Brunell has been having a hell of a exhibition season, so I'll take you at your word. And we'll see how they do. Hopefully they unseat the Eagles.

QB: I think McNair is better than Favre at this point, but I'm not surprised to see Favre in the Top 5. I'd take McNabb over Culpepper and Hasselbeck over Trent Green. I'd take Delhomme over Trent Green, too. RB: Until he proves himself outside of Denver, Portis should go below Deuce. I'd re-arrange the bottom 6 like this: Corey Dillon, Stephen Davis, Travis Henry, Shaun Alexander, Edgerrin James, Fred Taylor. WR: Let Chad Johnson produce for one more year before ranking him ahead of Hines Ward. I think Steve Smith is better than Anquan Boldin. OLB: How does Derrick Brooks drop from No. 9 last year to No. 54? Did he do THAT bad last season? And maybe LaVar isn't the best OLB, but the Browns still should have taken him above Courtney Brown. CB: Charles Woodson is often overrated, but even I think he should at least be placed about Marcus Trufant, who's only in his 2nd year.

He's just as good if not better than Robert Smith was for the Vikings were he to stay totally healthy. Besides he's not as injury-prone as oh let's say Fred Taylor to keep him out of the top 10.
