Now that HHH is back on the working wagon, I think it's time to direct our hate to the only man in the history of pro wrestling who has never successfully hit his own finishing maneuver...Maven.

 

Please share your own personal story of why you hate Maven.

 

For me, I have hated him all along, but the nail in the coffin was when he returned to RAW after his latest hiatus (not long enough), and went completely bezerk like we had all missed him while he was on the DL and the crowd was giving him the pop of a lifetime. It was ridiculous.

Anyway, Maven's progress is remarkable considering he was put in a position that it takes the average wrestler nearly a decade to learn. Of course he's not going to set the world on fire this early.

Maven has something special. I just don't consider him as much of a wrestler as an obligated hire. He has serious charisma though, maybe he needs a heel turn?

Further to my previous post, along with agreement to Banky's. I am completely convinced that in 5-10 years, Maven is going to be an hell of a performer who can handle almost any position he's given in the company. He's shown that he can connect to the crowd, and he clearly has a good look and already decent ring ability. Boils down to some people not seeing that these TE kids are thrown right into the fire when they are clearly not ready and told to make the most of it.

 

Maven is well on his way to doing so. As long as he stays healthy.

As for Maven, he does one thing that many people can't really saying, he wants to learn. And for the record, his dropkick is the best, Holly's is good, but Maven just does it better.

I really don't think Maven sucks In the ring, It's just he been In The WWE for nearly 3 Years and has yet to form a true identity as something other than a Tough Enough Winner. And that Is something Creative can be blamed for once again, IMO.

Yes, they both have a tendency to fuck up their routine finishers, but at least Tomko has the decency to keep his mouth shut. Maven is obnoxious. Therefore, Tomko > Maven.

This is so laughable that I almost want to ignore it...but I can't. Taker is a legend, Maven is NOTHING. Could Maven have had a ***** Hell in the Cell match with HBK? Or any of the other classics that Taker has been involved in? I think not. You're comparing a guy that many of the all-time greats have called their best professional experience with a green, piss-poor amateur?

Boring, but also a better worker than Maven. He doesn't fuck up.

Better worker than Maven. And "The Big Shot" gimmick was funnier than anything Maven has ever done in his worthless life.

The fuck? Batista has been involved in some great tags on RAW recently. Matches that Maven couldn't be carried to in a million years, because he's the absolute worst. Why is he worse than Maven, because he's a hoss?

You amaze me. With the exception of Tomko, no one you listed is even close to being as bad as Maven. Weren't you the same guy who went on the big "Austin sucks" rant, no-selling Ray's counter arguments and refusing to explain yourself?
