Velocity preview for Sept. 18, 2004

Starting this Saturday, Velocity moves to a new time. Be sure to tune in to Spike TV at 11 p.m./10 CT to see all the action.

JBL's chief of staff will be in action when Orlando Jordan goes one on one with Scotty 2 Hotty.

Also, cruiserweights Paul London and Akio will square off.

And Mark Jindrak will battle Shannon Moore.

In addition to all this, Luther Reigns will be in action.

Don't miss velocity at its new time - 11 p.m./10 CT on Spike TV - for all this and a look back at the week that was on SmackDown!, including Big Show's huge No Mercy decision and match No. 4 in John Cena vs. Booker T.

Are they trying to officially kill off this show?

Well it was pretty much in that slot at first (10) then they moved it for no reason (as if it was actually going to do better) and well..I guess since there was no real result they just decided to put it back how it was.

Why do they always change the time when there's a good match on? They did this last time with Noble/Rey. Damn, I wanted to see London/Yang, but I'm going out tonight, and my VCR is destroyed...

As long as they still have those outrageous canned pops I'm still in.

I'd love to see London pull out his SSP to spite Kidman as a build to their match, though preferably during a match more than 20 people will see on TV.

That's my guess as to why he didn't do it. He'll probaly debut it on SD. But for those who see it, but would probaly miss SD, maybe it's an incentive.

It beats Eddie/JBL. I actually like Reigns, he's a decent worker.

Of course I missed it. How was Yang/London?

It was pretty good, of course. They teased London doing the shooting star press, as he set Yang up in the corner for it, but never got teh chance, and the commentators went on about how it was an 'FU' (not in those words) to Billy Kidman.

And as for the Eddie/Reigns thing...I actually don't think it will be that bet. As has been said, he's not that bad, one of the better big men in recent memory, which surprised me, I mean come on...his name was Horshu. And most big guys are even better when they go against smaller guys..and you know Eddie's gonna bump like hell, so it probaly will turn out to be a good match.
