Can anyone give a decent non-sarcastic reason for this list to be the way it is? I sure as hell can't.....

Yes but PWI doesn't mention CZW or IWA Mid-South unless it's in Arena/Indy Reports or their annual "State of the Independents reports. And ECWA doesn't get too much love, but PWI covers Super 8 every year, makes no damn sense.

No Briscoes in the PWI 500. How the hell can you miss them out? Sorry to shill, but if you're interested in an objective, representative list of "kayfabed" success in North American pro-wrestling, check out my Push-Me Poll on the main TSM site or in the links below. It's not as confused with win/loss records, natural talent and match quality as PWI, but based purely on how hard a wrestler is being pushed -which is the true guage of success in this industry.

There are plenty of ROH, IWA Mid-South, CZW & PWG wrestlers in relatively high positions because I put the widely distributed taped shows on the same ranking level as Raws, Smackdowns & TNA PPVs.

In the 2004 Push-Me Poll (accurate from Jan-Aug) Mark Briscoe is ranked 66, Jay Briscoe is ranked 68.

-500. 2004 PWI 500 ($6.95, 70 pages, 25, N/A)

This year's PWI 500 is a bust ... Found today in a local supermarket ... Easily the least detailed PWI 500 of all time ...No "full" biographies on numbers 2-10 (or 20)... Chalk it up to being busy with the 25th Anniversary Book, but it's still a disappointment ... Didn't buy it for the first time in eight years ... I miss WOW Magazine.
