While it's not 'good' for the WWE...one less viewer for maybe 10 minutes isn't really gonna hurt them. And also, evidently it did spark enough interest in you to enter a thread about it and 'talk about it' (whether it's good or bad).

 

And before anyone goes on the 'it's not just him/me' most of the time, that's bs...there are so MANY people that say the same thing "oh shit...bathroom break" etc...and two minutes later they are complaining, 'damn that was a stuped segment' or something to that effect. Evidently they didn't really change the channel or go the bathroom if they're talking about it seconds later before anyone else even mentions what happened.

The exact timeframe escapes me, but it was around a month/couple months before the Molly/Victoria Mania match, I believe. I think it was a few weeks before Gail was injured.

 

So we're looking early this year or late last year.

i enjoy wrestling, and i realize that there are going to be things from time to time that i dont like. its always easier to second guess something when you arent the one to think of it. and NO, they can't pull the plug on it now. they would lose more money by breaching the contract and risking a future meeting in court than if they just put her on tv and hoped for the best. and besides, if having two legit attractive women (and if any of you say you wouldnt fuck either of them is full of shit. if they were laying there with their legs open telling you to have at it i guaran damn tee none of you would turn it down) being on tv for 10-15 minutes draws in a few more male viewers, who is it hurting?

We've already got several on the roster (both eye-candy and actual wrestlers) who spend most of their time sitting it out most of the time, and then they apparently have brought in two more.

What net benefits do they bring? They're going to use time that was just going to be used by the other Divas anyway, and unless they're going to do multiple Playboy shoots all in a row, they're not really any huge additional gain, because at any given time only one will be a heavily promoted face, and Carmella, as a heel, won't be put in the position to make any money for the company even if she would be able to.

 

Basically, you hired two women to do jobs that women you already employ do just fine...however, you're paying the current Divas *AND* the new Divas.

 

It's very similar to how WWE signs tons of wrestlers, doesn't use many of them or flat out wastes them, and then releases them without ever giving them a chance to succeed.

That segment was on the September 8 2003 Raw. If I remember right Molly said she wanted the handicap match for next week, Gail said she'd take care of it. Later they showed another segment with Molly in the locker room, Gail walks in half dressed and says she taken care of it with Bisch.

The match itself on the following Raw was the return of Lita.

That isn't the issue. Thing is--we've seen Carmella naked, she can't wrestle, and she's extremely dull as a character. There are already other Divas on the roster who can do her job. Hence, myself and others view her as useless *and* redundant. Carmella brings nothing special to the table except for the "Playmate of the Year" title. Big whoop. Torrie has much larger upsides than Carmella, because--call me crazy, but PMotY or no, I think Torrie *may* have more name value.

Well, at first, I was for Carmella, but as time went by, she just started to get boring. I mean she never showed any other emotion besides smiling and she had that "Where's my paycheck?" look. I don't know when I started pulling for Christy, I think it was the night after Unforgiven. At least she shows some sort of emotion besides a smile and looks like she's having fun. Even if she knows nothing about wrestling, and only did it for the money.
