Guest Real F'n Show

I've been working on a fantasy fed and have been typing shows up for awhile now. I have like 3 1/2 months of shows done already, and wasn't planning on posting them here, but I need a new fed to keep me busy while I'm at work. The fed consists of some of my favorite wrestlers of all time, all in their primes, at the same period in time. Impossible, I know, but this is FANTASY booking, so whatever. I hope you'll look past the fact that it isn't realistic, and enjoy the fed for what it is. I will be posting the info for the fed in the next post.

"Mean" Gene Okerlund does a pre-taped sitdown interview with "Stone Cold" Steve Austin. Austin says he can't wait to debut for the GWF, and says as soon as his back is better, he'll be there to raise hell and open up a can.

In the second match of the GWF Title Tournament, Bret "The Hitman" Hart def. Mr. Perfect in 16:02 with the sharpshooter. (***3/4)

The Steiner Brothers def. Steven Regal and Fit Finlay in 9:18 when Scott pinned Finlay following the Steiner Screwdriver. (**3/4)

"The Nature Boy" Ric Flair cuts a great promo backstage. He says he's glad to be here, and says he doesn't need to show everyone that he's the best, because he's done it time and time again. However, he says he's gonna go out there again tonight, because something new is on the line. He says he'll beat Savage tonight and move on to win the GWF Title next week!

In the main event, and final match of the first round of the GWF Title Tournament, "Nature Boy" Ric Flair def. "Macho Man" Randy Savage in 16:11 after Barry Windham distracted the referee, leading to Flair chopblocking Savage with the ring bell and locking him in the figure four leglock for the submission victory. I like stuff that keeps my attention span. Good work.

I think bringing in Rick Martel from when he returned in 1998 would be a cool idea. Since he got injured again, we never really got to see what he could amount to, and the few matches that he had he looked like a champ.

And if it did happen, Steiners vs. Finlay and Regal would be one of the stiffest matches ever.

Whither Jamie Knoble?

I tried to go the more "old school" route for my original roster. However, I may bring him as a certain someone's protege later on...

Certain someone = Chris Benoit, correct?

Gotta bring in London with him, and let those 2 go at it.

Like I said earlier, I have about 3 months of shows written already. After that, the possibilities are endless.

I've been developing my own, and you took some of my guys :D Mine's Georgia Championship Wrestling, even though I know there already is/was a GCW. But I wanted a Southern feel to go along with the ECW/ROH vibe it'd have.

Eddie Guerrero makes his way out to the ring for an interview with Jim Ross. Eddie is visibly upset after Steamboat cost him his tournament match against Bret Hart last week. Eddie calls out Steamboat and "The Dragon" is quick to answer the challenge. Before Steamboat can even take the mic however, Eddie kicks him low and beats the hell out of him until security is able to pull him off.

Rick Steiner def. Fit Finlay in 9:03 with a flying bulldog. (**)

Those are some long RAW matches. :)

Yeah, and amazingly it still totals out to about 2 hours when you factor in the interviews, commercials, etc. Raw matches could be so much longer without the pointless segments they seem to have every week.

Monday Night Raw Preview

On last week's Raw, just as it looked like Bret and Owen Hart had things wrapped up against Flair and Windham, unexpected interference from Dean Malenko and Brian Pillman caused them to lose their tag team match. What alliance do Malenko and Pillman have with Flair and Windham? Bret and Owen will both be on Raw this Monday, looking for answers.

Also, in the first match signed for Raw, Ricky Steamboat will take on Mr. Perfect! Eddie Guerrero is also expected to be in the house. Will he accept Steamboat's challenge?

Chris Benoit will also be in action! So don't miss this Raw, just 6 days away from GWF Backlash!

for the fourth week in April

with Gorilla Monsoon, Mike Tenay, and Bobby "The Brain" Heenan

In yet another fast-paced opener that is soon becoming common here in the GWF, the team of Jushin "Thunder" Liger and Ultimo Dragon def. Rey Mysterio Jr. and Psicosis in 17:19 when Dragon submitted Mysterio to the Dragon Sleeper. (***1/2)

Fit Finlay and Steven Regal NC The Steiners in 8:04 following a double countout. Both teams brawled to the back afterwards. They are developing somewhat of a rivalry. (**1/4)

Backstage, Flair, Windham, Malenko, and Pillman are waiting to be interviewed by "Mean" Gene Okerlund. Flair proclaims the four men the next reincarnation of the legendary Four Horsemen. Flair says they will make Bret Hart's life a living hell until he receives a shot at Bret's title.

Up next, Ricky Steamboat def. Mr. Perfect in 12:54 with a flying crossbody block. After the match, Eddie Guerrero destroys Steamboat as he's heading to the back. Eddie beats Steamboat to a bloody pulp, and stands over him, proclaiming that he accepts Steamboat's challenge for a match at Backlash. (***1/2)

A lengthy Backlash promo airs, with highlights of all the feuds going on in the fed right now. Matches announced include: Chris Benoit vs. The Dynamite Kid, Ricky Steamboat vs. Eddie Guerrero, Cruiserweight Action, Regal and Finlay vs. The Steiners in a No Count Out match for the vacant GWF Tag Team Titles, and just announced, Ric Flair will challenge Bret Hart for the GWF World Heavyweight Title.

After the video package is finished, we see Commissioner Terry Funk standing by with "Mean" Gene. Funk says that in tonight's main event, we will see a rematch of last week's main event, Bret and Owen vs. Flair and Windham, with Malenko and Pillman barred from ringside. GWF BACKLASH PREVIEW

The GWF's first ever pay per view, Backlash, is less than 24 hours away, and you can bet that tomorrow night will be jammed pack full of great wrestling action, like only the GWF can bring you! In the meantime, we'll take a look at the card that has been set up for this special event:

MAIN EVENT

GWF Title

Champion Bret "The Hitman" Hart vs. "Nature Boy" Ric Flair

Two of the greatest wrestlers to ever walk the earth will do battle tomorrow night, fighting for the most valued and respected title in the business, the GWF World Heavyweight Championship. The Hitman originally beat The Nature Boy for this very belt in the finals of the GWF Title Tournament just a few weeks ago, but now Flair has rounded up The Four Horsemen to help him in his quest to regain what he believes is rightfully his. Will Bret be able to put Flair and The Horsemen in their place? Or will Flair come out on top? Tune in tomorrow night to find out!

DREAM MATCH

Chris Benoit vs. The Dynamite Kid

Tomorrow night in front of a sold out crowd, we could witness one of the greatest matches of all time. Chris Benoit grew up idolizing The Dynamite Kid. But little did he know that he would someday get the chance to step into the ring with his idol. Tomorrow night, two men who's styles are so alike will do battle to see who comes out on top, new school or old school.

GRUDGE MATCH

Eddie Guerrero vs. Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat

Perhaps the most hate-filled rivalry thus far in the GWF is that of Eddie Guerrero and Ricky Steamboat. Steamboat, always against cheating, seems to have found his arch enemy in king rudo, Eddie Guerrero. What will reign victorious in this match, good or evil? You'll have to watch to find out!

TAG TEAM ACTION

For the Vacant GWF Tag Team Titles

Fit Finlay and Steven Regal vs. The Steiner Brothers

These two teams have developed some what of a rivalry these past few weeks over little or nothing, so the GWF has decided to give these guys something to really fight about! The Tag Team Titles will be on the line as these two hard-hitting teams go at it in a No Countouts Match! There must be a winner! Who will come out on top?

***JUST ADDED***

Four Horsemen vs. Hart Foundation Showdown

While the leaders of these two factions will be battling for the GWF Title, the GWF felt it was unfair that the rest of them be left out. So we've decided to let these guys go at it in a good ol' fashion 6 man tag match! The hatred is strong between these two super-groups, and maybe, just maybe, a win could boost their leader into winning the GWF Title match!

PLUS CRUISERWEIGHT ACTION!

It all goes down tomorrow night, live on PPV! You don't wanna miss Backlash!

FREE-FOR-ALL

GWF Backlash Pre-show

with Jim Ross and "Mean" Gene Okerlund

JR and "Mean" Gene welcome us to the show. We're just one hour away from the GWF's first ever PPV, Backlash! Tonight in the Free-For-All match, Mr. Perfect goes one on one with Too Cold Scorpio!

A video package plays highlighting the Chris Benoit/Dynamite Kid match that will take place tonight.

We see that fans are beginning to file into the arena.

Another video package plays, showcasing the feud between The Four Horsemen and The Hart Foundation. Malenko, Pillman, and Windham will take on Neidhart, Davey Boy, and Owen tonight, and of course, Bret defends the GWF Title against Flair.

Backstage, Fit Finlay and Steve Regal are talking in their dressing room. Soon they notice the camera, however, and the camera man is forced out of the dressing room.

Jim Ross analyzes the Finlay/Regal vs. Steiners match for the vacant tag team titles in this month's Ross Report. JR gives the advantage to The Steiners because of their strength, but says not to count out Finlay and Regal, who have the upper hand on the mat. JR concludes that this should be a hard-hitting barnburner.

Yet another video package airs, this one showing the feud between Eddie Guerrero and Ricky Steamboat.

Backstage, "Mean" Gene is about to interview Steamboat. "The Dragon" says that tonight, Eddie Guerrero will get what's coming to him. He says that cheating is not a good way to suceed in wrestling, and tonight Steamboat will prove that by beating Eddie, cleanly.

In the Free-For-All match, Too Cold Scorpio def. Mr. Perfect in 7:42 with the 450 splash. (**)

Backlash is just a few short minutes away, live and only on PPV.

The final video package of the pre-show airs, set to Megadeth's "Symphony of Destruction." It shows all the events leading up to the PPV, and ends with Bret and Flair standing face to face.

Final hype, call your local cable or satellite providers to order Backlash!

Castrol GTX presents

GWF BACKLASH

with Gorilla Monsoon, Mike Tenay, and Bobby "The Brain" Heenan

In the opener, the team of Jushin "Thunder" Liger, Ultimo Dragon, and The Great Sasuke def. Rey Mysterio Jr., Juventud Guerrera, and Psicosis in 28:46 when Sasuke pinned Mysterio with a tiger suplex hold. (****)

Fit Finlay and Steven Regal def. The Steiner Brothers in 13:12 to win the vacant GWF Tag Team Titles when Finlay pinned Scott. During the match, Regal pulled out brass knuckles and tried to hit Scott with them, but the ref stopped him just in time. With the ref distracted, however, Finlay used another pair of knucks on Scott for the pin. (**3/4)

Backstage, "Mean" Gene Okerlund gets a word with Eddie Guerrero. Eddie says that cheating does get you places, and he's living proof. Tonight he's going to destroy Steamboat and prove once again, that cheaters can come out on top.

Next up, Eddie Guerrero def. Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat in 20:47 after rolling through a top rope flying crossbody and grabbing the tights for the pin. After the match, Eddie beats the hell out of Steamboat, culminating in a brutal chairshot, busting "The Dragon" wide open. (****1/4)

A promo airs for next month's PPV, In Your House.

In a wild 6-man tag team match, Owen Hart, Davey Boy Smith, and Jim Neidhart NC Barry Windham, Dean Malenko, and Brian Pillman in 17:54 after the referee lost control. The Horsemen used steel chairs to destroy the Hart Foundation after the match was over. Bret Hart tried to make the save, but was blindsided by Ric Flair on the entrance ramp. The Horsemen then continue beating the hell out of the Hart Foundation, until they are eventually pulled away by security. (***1/4)

In an amazing match, Chris Benoit def. The Dynamite Kid in 34:11 following a diving headbutt from 3/4 the way across the ring. After the match, both men hug and raise each other's arms in the air. (****1/2)

Backstage, The Hart Foundation and Horsemen are brawling all over. Commissioner Terry Funk finally steps in and tells everyone to stop fighting or they will all be suspended and the GWF Title will be held vacant. He tells Bret and Flair to get in the ring for their match.

In the main event of the evening, Bret Hart def. Ric Flair in 26:30 by turning the figure four leglock over and standing up into the sharpshooter, causing Flair to tap out. (***3/4)

As Flair heads up the ramp afterwards, he is soon joined by the rest of The Four Horsemen. They all regroup and head back down to the ring, where Bret is alone. Suddenly the Hart Foundation comes out of the crowd with steel chairs and surrounds the ring, protecting their leader. Backlash goes off the air with a staredown between the two factions.

Monday Night Raw Preview

Last night, the GWF held it's first ever PPV, Backlash! Make sure to tune in to Raw tonight to catch the fallout of this amazing event.

The end to the Horsemen versus Hart Foundation feud did not come to an end last night, and if anything, escaladed to an even higher hatred. Bret Hart retained his title against Flair, but all hell almost broke loose afterwards. Will Bret and company remain standing tall after last night? Or will Flair and the gang get some revenge? Tune in to find out!

Also last night, Eddie Guerrero cheated his way to victory over Ricky Steamboat, and then, adding insult to injury, or in this case, injury to insult, proceeded to beat the hell out of Steamboat with a chair. We already know Eddie will be in the house tonight, but will Steamboat be there after what Eddie did to him?

All this and more, tonight on Raw!
