I can't believe we wasted movement from Ruben Sierra.

Its Jon Olerud's fault.

Even if the Yanks get past this series, will Jason Giambi be a realistic starter for the ALCS?

No. Giambi is like the living dead right now. I'd rather have a slick fielder with a pretty decent bat in Olerud than a guy with niether in Giambi.

What the hell is your problem with Olerud?

You do realize hes been somewhat of a savior to us?

He is a back up, washed up 1st basemen. He hasn't done ANYTHING at the plate in the past two games. I'm just saying when he comes to bad I know he isn't going to do anything worthwhile.

Johnny O has been big for us. He also got a double today, which is impressive considering he's the slowest man on earth

He was the closest to getting us a run yesterday, had a double tonight.

And jesus christ, I love you Miggie.

Olerud had a double tonight? I must've been eating supper...

5-3 Yankees, RBI single A-Rod, that should about do it for this game.

I'll be careful. Flash scared me a little bit (I still love the guy) against Offerman. Nothing is a done deal.

He faced Santana, a lefty, last night. Olerud really is a platoon hitter at this point, and he was out there because the Yanks had no better option.

I got to admit, this is the first play-off game this year that I've enjoyed.

This is the number one thing that annoys me about the Yankees. Late-inning stall tactics.

What?

Killing time on the mound before bringing in the new pitcher. Or sometimes having Stottlemyre talk to the entire team on the mound, and then Torre comes out. The Yankees certainly aren't the only team that does it, but when its 11:30 at night, and you have an 8am class the next morning, it gets really tiring.
