The Baseball Tonight panel continues to fill up with Philadelphia Phillies, as they now have Larry Bowa, sitting next to John Kruk, ranting about the Braves & Twins chances...

 

I remember when I liked/respected/could tolerate this show.

God, I wish I wasn't at work so I could see this train wreck.

Bowa then ran down the Phillies' pitchers and stadium, stating that the Phillies need to get some "low ball" pitchers in there to make up for the "way way too small" new stadium that was built. He also blamed injuries for the teams' performance.

 

I want to say he was just trying to express a point, but he sounded so fucking bitter.

The Phillies did tend to pick up overrated pitchers, so I can't blame him for that. I dop think the effects of the ballpark are overblown.

Of course, saying the only person Bowa was better at job-wise than was the former Tacoma Rainiers' manager isn't saying a hell of a lot........................
