Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted October 12, 2004 Antowain Smith puts it in again, and the effort from Green Bay looks more like a preseason game than a must-win. 48-20 Titans, and that sets the record for most points ever scored by an opponent at Lambeau Field. Fucking Jeff Fisher celebrates as if Anderson just up up a game-clinching FG.
snuffbox 0 Report post Posted October 12, 2004 that's one easy schedule the Packers have coming up 'Easy' games dont really help Green Bay anyway...
Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted October 12, 2004 For a team that's played as terribly as Green Bay has, like tonight, every one of those games looks tough. The thing that sucks is up till tonight, every one of those losses they've been in the game. Tennessee started out 1-4 back in `02 and made the AFC Championship.. Let's see if Green Bay will luck out..
Guest The Shadow Behind You Report post Posted October 12, 2004 tell that old lady that td's are only worth 6 pts, and they are still down like by 20 points.
Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted October 12, 2004 I'm tellin you guys Craig Nall's the QB of the future for Green Bay. Sharp kid, strong arm. He gets Walker a TD to make this a slightly less bit than a blowout at a 21 point assraping instead of a 28 point one. You turn the ball over 6 times, continue to suck against the run, how the fuck can you expect to win any game? 5 things I think-> #1 Address the run defense, improve tackling. It's not just Grady Jackson that's missing, it's EVERYBODY. I haven't seen defense played that bad in my entire life, and that's no exagerration. #2 Improve that turnover ratio. I wouldn't be surprised if Green Bay was right down there with Miami in how bad that shit is. #3 Fire the fucking team up. You can tell this is a coaching issue. Madden said he saw the team practice on Saturday and they were pretty flat, and it shows. They just don't seem to care. #4 There's still two games coming up against Minnesota, one at Philadelphia which could be even worse than this one, and the rejuvenated Rams at home. Even though Jacksonville's lost two straight, that's still a tough defense to go up against in November as well. #5 Where the hell was Ahman tonight? The most noticeable play he had was that fumble earlier. From keeping two punters on the roster to the McKenzie saga, this seriously has been a poor start for my beloved Pack. I think all signs point to a Philly-New England Super Bowl this year, what it should have been last year had they not miffed that fluke game against Carolina. With the way Green Bay is playing right now, if they domn't knock off the turnovers and start tackling, they'd be lucky to end the season at .500 *cue Jim Mora's infamous "PLAYOFFS?!" soundbite*
snuffbox 0 Report post Posted October 12, 2004 I didnt even want to see Ahman Green TOUCH the football after that fumble....
snuffbox 0 Report post Posted October 12, 2004 Packers have to play Detroit AT their dome next week so that will probably be ANOTHER loss... If they find some miracle spark before then and get a victory...itll be an insane bloodthirsty Lambeau when Dallas comes to town...it could be a good time to turn the season around if next Sunday doesnt kill it entirely. Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted October 12, 2004 I'm getting tired ofh earing the term "must-win" every week from the announcers. HOW MANY GAMES DO WE HAVE TO LOSE IN A ROW FOR IT NOT TO BE A MUST-WIN?! Erm.. probably enough to not make the playoffs and just play spoiler for the rest of the season. This can't be happening. This can't be happening. I will not see a Favre-led Packers finish below .500.. Room spinning.. Lights dimming.. *faints*
