The main event is liekly very good wrestling wise, but the show on a whole seems missable. What a dumb move with Regal. Its so dumb it hurts.

Page 3 Girls are pretty popular in the Sun newspaper, which are the official whatever for this tour for WWE. Page 3 Girls = Topless bimbos. All right, Nikkala! ..uh, I mean-- crazy brits.

Twas excellent. Orton got one of the best reactions of the night, but NOTHING compares to the whole regal fiasco!

Crowd sings 'Na na na na, na na na na, hey hey hey Goodbye' as security take him away... Edge, HBK and Benoit win against Evolution......Edge however lays down both HBK and Benoit after the match to end the show. Next week HBK vs Benoit vs Edge in a triple threat match is the main event of RAW. After cameras stopped rolling....Evolution attacked HBK and Benoit. Orton comes to the rescue and RKO's HHH, Flair and Batista. That's all from Manchester! So that's what the crowd was singing about....
Ultra Violence Posted October 12, 2004 Report Posted October 12, 2004 Earl Hebner got a "You screwed Bret" chant, someone dressed as Brett then stood up and walked towards the ring through the seating getting a massive pop and a laugh from Hebner. A guy dressed as Hogan and a guy dressed as Foley both got massive pops. On the floor a Dave chant got started when Batista and Edge were fighting. Flair got massive pops the entire night. Edge got crowd heat the entire night. That's about all I have to add.

I was thinking the same thing ... how hard would it have been to let Regal & Eugene keep the belts until next Monday, and then have Bischoff say "due to the use of the knucks, the belts are held up" and then have La Rez win them back next week? Why not send the fans home happy last night?!?
