Megas is by far one of the best orginal shows on Cartoon Network..........it has Bruce Campbell as a wrestling promoter!  Plus all of the pop culture mockery is funnier than the current SNL especailly this weeks episode with Mr. T-bot!  Come on Megnamous in the Buba Ho-tep mecha with chainsaw arm & shotgun just rules.

Just saw that episode. Best thing ever IMO.

Clone High was also fucking great. All of it. You can find the series on torrent sites.

I actually had a buddy of mine make a DVD with every ep. Great quality too. I watch it fairly often. That show could have gone on much longer, but of course it's always the good ones that get canned.

Can't remember how good Bionic 6 was. Anyone remember how good that one was?

Of course Samurai Jack is epic.

I gotta get the rest of the DVD's when they come out (the first few eps were a little weak besides the first one, at least compared to what the recent ones were.)

Speaking of DVD's.

11/16/04, Home Movies season one drops!

There, fixed it for you.

WP -- Sees a lot of weird choices for shows here. Did nobody watch that Jungle Book show I was talking about?

Going back further in time what about Smurfs, Hercules, Bionic 6, the epitome of cuteness the Popples, that Wizard of Oz show and the Care Bears? Not all my favourites but you think someone'd mention them.

The Smurfs went to hell when they started adding new characters in the final seasons. Did the show really need baby smurf, old geezer smurf, wild smurf, redhead stupid girl smurf?

The Twisted Adventures of Felix the Cat were a blessing for those on LSD.

Fritz the Cat.

Felix was a kid's cartoon.

Anyone think Drawn Together is actually going to be any good? Looking at the writers' resume, okay--they did Andy Richter's show, but they also did The Man Show and Crank Yankers. Plus some show called Action I've never even heard of.

However, the concept itself plus CC's playing the commercials 5,000 times make me less than enthused about it.

MAG-NAN-I-MOUS! :P

Also, yes--Bruce is always awesome although I would have liked to see the T mech whoop a little more BUTT and throw Megas hella far at least once.

No, no, no.

If you've seen the Bermuda Triangle episode, you'd know what I was talking about.

Things floating in the air, crazy colours and inanimate objects talking. It's hardcore, man.

Andrew, Action was a comedy on FOX 6 or 7 years ago starring Jay Mohr as a movie producer. One of the funniest shows I had ever seen, so of course it was cancelled after like 5 weeks. It was really better suited for pay cable (it would thrive on Showtime nowadays) because they didn't hesitate to drop every curse word in the English language, which would of course have to be bleeped. Still a hilarious show.

Anyway, back on topic, I agree with Clone High, and even the recent CG Spiderman that was on MTV. Lisa Loeb voicing MJ worked somehow. Back in the day though it was all about Transformers and G.I. Joe (Snake-Eyes owned everyone). Then stuff like Macross Robotech (interracial relationships and killing off main characters in a cartoon in the 80s? Mind boggling concept at the time.)

Meh, it was just the usual late 80's - early 90's superhero PC toon with two token non-white characters and a rebellious daughter. Music was kinda cool, though.

On another note, this board needs some Teen Titans love, dammit...

I think that "Teen Titans" has a pretty big following. Great show however. (Starfire's my favorite character-she's cute as a button, and hilarious as well)

Teen Titans is ok but not great so far there are maybe 2 episodes that I like, one of which is the one with Robert England doing a british accent for one of the villians and the other would be the one with that robin alien "special" superfan that screws up everthing.
