GreatWhiteNope Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 http://www.cnn.com/ELECTION/2004/pages/results/index.html Electoral Votes Bush: 34 Kerry: 3 So far...
JoeDirt Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 Yep, and he'll probably get South Carolina and Virginia soon too...no surprises to far, clearly.
Guest Stranger Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 That's a correct result so far, but its what has been predicted all along, the real indications will start coming out in an hour or so, especially when the Cali and Ohio votes come through. It just said that Ohio might not be announced for hours because of lines of people still waiting to vote. Most Southern States will obviously vote Bush because Bush's party is dominated by white church-goers, while the Democrates are an equal party, with black members, white members and mixed religions. Sad, but true.

JoeDirt Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 Yeah, it'd be nice not to have every thread here break down into name calling and bickering tonight.

Guest The Shadow Behind You Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 Whatever lingering intelligence I still had after 18 years of watching WWE, just got raped by reading that post.
JoeDirt Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 So yeah, anyways, Ohio, WV, and NC to close in a few minutes. WV and NC will no doubt go Bush, and we probably won't know with Ohio until late tonight.
GreatWhiteNope Posted November 3, 2004 Author Report Posted November 3, 2004 Mathews said MSNBC may call Ohio after this commercial break.
JoeDirt Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 Mathews said MSNBC may call Ohio after this commercial break. Just trying to hook the viewers in... But interesting. We'll see.
Rob E Dangerously Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 the CNN election page fucking rules
Guest Salacious Crumb Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 Votes are probably still going to go for 2-3 hours. My mom is currently in line and she still has an hour and 20 minutes.
Guest Salacious Crumb Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 Mathews said MSNBC may call Ohio after this commercial break. Guess they didn't learn a damned thing from 2000 then.
Guest The Shadow Behind You Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 I love the CNN Giant Titantron like board.
Guest JRE Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 Republicans resorting to juevenile trashtalk quickly, as usual. (Wait...before you reply, I'm just taking the obvious, pretty lame, joke.)
Guest MikeSC Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 Mathews said MSNBC may call Ohio after this commercial break. I guess they want to wait until the polls JUST close. Well, let's see what they pick. -=Mike
JoeDirt Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 I love the CNN Giant Titantron like board. I want the glass to shatter and Stone Cold to come out and give Jeff Greenfield a stunner.
GreatWhiteNope Posted November 3, 2004 Author Report Posted November 3, 2004 MSNBC: Ohio - Too close to call
Guest Salacious Crumb Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 MSNBC: Ohio - Too close to call Well duh, what dumbfuck there thought they could call the state as soon as the polls closed. People are still going to be voting here at 10.

JoeDirt Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 FL and PA close at 8:00, though we won't know those states until much later as well, I'm guessing.

Guest The Shadow Behind You Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 Anyone really think we can get a complete surprise tonight? Meaning Kerry winning a normally Republican state or vice versa?
JoeDirt Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 Anyone really think we can get a complete surprise tonight? Meaning Kerry winning a normally Republican state or vice versa? I really don't think so. I think there are several bubble states that could go either way, but I really don't think anything mindblowing is going to happen.
Guest Salacious Crumb Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 If there's a big surprise it'll be Bush winning something like New Jersey. I don't think Kerry can pull off any surprises in the South or Mid-West. He'll have to win on battleground states and DNC strongholds.
