Lightning Flik 0 Report post Posted November 12, 2004 It isn't, though. See how the same exact game's rating differs on various gaming sites and magazines. Ratchet and Clank 3 getting a 10 means it is a good game, but the rating itself is meaningless. I've rented/played/owned plenty of games in the 60-70% range that I've liked a lot and felt were good games. Of course, stupid ADD-ridden casual gamers would rather not have to *read* a review, and rather look a single score, or maybe breakdown by categories. ...ok, apparently you didn't undestand. I'm saying you actually have to read the damn review to see that the ratings don't match up with what actually was presented. And I'll backtrack from saying all reviews because you are right, it isn't all of them. But dammit, if you are going to use a rating system, use one that fits your critea of reviews. Giving a game a "Perfect" score should mean that it isn't just a "good" game, but an awesome one that you must have. I'm not saying that these 70 or less actually suck. I'm saying this is what the reviews protray for their review scores. And Andrew, let's drop this. This thread isn't for this and I'm sorry for derailing the topic (as this was my fault). ...and how come NO one has at least palyed this game? Geezus... Vyce 0 Report post Posted November 13, 2004 Actually although there is a limited roster, you also have their opposite side to them as well. Which means a new set of outfit and personality as well. And DJV didn't have a CAW in the first game as well. I was including that - it still brings the total number of playable wrestlers only up to about two dozen. And that's only after you've unlocked all of the alternative costumes. I don't know - it looks as if I'll wait until it drops to 20 bucks before I buy.
