Best/Worst Looking Championship Belt

There have been a lot of belts in many organizations, but these stand out to me...

 

Best: WWF Winged Eagle World and The Intercontinental (1986-1998)

 

Worst: Current Womens Belt/WCW Hardcore Trophy

Best: Heavyweight Belt (Circa 88-98), IC belt (Circa 86-98), World Heavyweight Title, Tag Team belts (Circa 85-02), NWA heavyweight title

 

Worst: IC belt ( Circa 80-83 & 84-85), Heavyweight Belt (Circa 82-84),

When WCW used the Western States Heritage belt as the heavyweight title when flair left for the wwe and took the gold belt with him.

I'm trying to remember...what was teh deal with the Western States belt in the late '80s? I remember Barry Windham and I think Larry Z. holding it. What was the point of it? WCW already had a few single belts by that point.

It was the UWF's secondary title. Windham won the belt in a tournament on June 20th 1987 in Houston. I'm assuming the decision to create a secondary belt came before the merger with the NWA, and by the time the tournament came about, the merger was a done deal.

The worst looking title belt was the US Title that had the "buckle" in the shape of the US.

Best: World Heavyweight title WWE Version, WWF early 90s World Title, WWE title, WWE US title, WWE World Tag Titles, WWE Cruiserweight title, WCW US Title, WCW Cruiserweight Tag Team titles.

 

Worst: WWE Woman's title, WWE Undisputed title(that thing was to small to be a World title), WWE Hardcore title, WCW Television title

If you mean the red and silver NWA version of the TV Title belt, I thought that was a really cool looking belt.

I assume women's belts are out, as the WWF Women's Title belt has had a long history of incredibly ugly variations.

Anybody prefer the new Raw Big Gold with the WWE logo and bigger sideplates over the old WCW one?

I hate Championship belts that has a different color strap to it like red, blue or yellow.

The pink strapped belt was even worse. When they change the belt strap color to match his attire, it just looks silly.

Actually, the story goes that Hulk Hogan had the WWE title made to look like his title from Rocky III (like this); the NWA followed suit with the National/TV title design.

On a sidenote, for fans of replica belts, would you rather have a smaller kid sized belt for less money, or an adult sized belt that costs more?
