Taker666 0 Report post Posted November 6, 2004 Last night's edition of WWE Smackdown on UPN finished with a fantastic 3.6 rating, their best numbers in a while. This rating is also up from last week's rating of a 3.4, which also was up from previous weeks. WWE officials must be quite pleased at this news. This is a bit late but, This is good news, I thought SD! was a pretty good show despite the Dawn Marie/Torrie Wilson arm wrestling bullshit. Isn't this higher than what Raws been getting? Hunter's Torn Quad 0 Report post Posted November 6, 2004 An increase over one week is nothing to get jazzed about. It's when the ratings don't dip and actually rise over a number of weeks that you get happy. And comparing the ratings between SD and Raw is misleading, because one is on network television, and the other on cable.
JoeDirt 0 Report post Posted November 6, 2004 Last night's Smackdown did a 3.3 rating, down slightly from what it had been doing of late. This is from Meltzer.
Mole 0 Report post Posted November 6, 2004 So it did a 3.3?
Guest LooneyTune Report post Posted November 6, 2004 Dawn Marie/Miss Jackie had the arm wrestling contest, not Dawn/Torrie . Torrie simply seduced the Tough Enough guys with her skank-ness (kinda like Mark Henry's "stank).
Use Your Illusion 0 Report post Posted November 7, 2004 The main event was surprisingly good, I thought. ...maybe that's because I was expecting a complete train-wreck. Regardless, Booker T was handled really well in that match, absolutely exploding at the end and kicking the living shit out of anything that moves. At least they're trying to make him seem legit. Guest Shutterspeed Report post Posted November 7, 2004 I can't believe that this company creams its pants every time one of the shows does a good rating. They fluctuate so much in terms of success - a good rating one week never guarantees or gives hope to a good rating the next week.

If they don't even feel good about the material that they're producing... well, then that's just sad.
