Why President Bush Won Reelection

Recommended Posts

Guest INXS

Welcome, Keele.

I believe that Bush won mainly because he energised the religous types and because of his scare tactics. I think the 400,000 uncounted ballot papers might have something to do with it as well ;p

Despite that being said, I don't think that Kerry was a strong enough candidate anyway.

Keel, if you're smart, you'll stay away from INXS at all costs. Trust me on this...

He'd probably steal his money is Keele allowed it.

I thought Bush won because of the giant killer gophers he unleased to suppress the black and gay voters. And those that made it through the gophers were blasted by a laser cannon donated by the creature of Prabyleya 6 just outside of the Milky Way Galaxy.

Cause all of that makes much more sense than some of the theories I've heard on why he won.

The theories only are getting worse. Keith Olbermann, a slightly less coherent version of the Flat Earth Society, is peddling a rumor about massive voter corruption in OH.

And, shockingly enough, I know plenty of far leftists who actually BUY this story. Never mind that it is false and laughably so.

We have Lawrence O'Donnell --- advisor for West Wing and a major player amongst Dems --- pushing for secession. We have Carol Simpson of ABC basically calling Bush voters slaveholders.

And if you want comic gold, check out this thread on Daily Kos where Kos learns that calling the terrorists in Fallujah thugs doesn't go over well with the far left psychos who frequent his site.

I thought Keith Olbermann was a sports broadcaster.

Why do we care what he has to say about the election?

No, he's on MSNBC (been for years) and is actually allowed to comment on politics.

I'd say he shouldn't be allowed to comment on events where the participants are brighter than he --- but that would have also precluded a return to ESPN.

Heck, if the President wasn't so fidgety during the first debate he wins by 10% points. He's up on average of 6-8 points, and after the debate polls showed the race inside the margin of error.

Wikipedia has already made a page on voting problems in the 2004 elections. But its neutrality and accuracy have been questioned, according to the page.

Eh, the way they are penned they really don't seem too unbiased.

I agree. I am going to look for inconsistencies and problems in the article.
