Big Ol' Smitty Posted November 10, 2004 Report Posted November 10, 2004 I used to run a lot of races. Now I don't run so much because I want to get more muscular. Here's my PRs: 5K: 18:20 Mile: 5:20 Half-Marathon: 1 Hr. 41 Min. Haven't run a marathon.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted November 10, 2004 Report Posted November 10, 2004 I SERIOUSLY doubt there are very many people here who run. I could be wrong but Im willing to bet Im not.

Guest Wildbomb 4:20 Posted November 10, 2004 Report Posted November 10, 2004 I don't run, but that's because I have two very bad knees. So I ride instead. I average about 16-18 mph, which isn't that bad, but it's not fantastic. I also lift a lot more than I would run. I don't mind being in the dungeon that is a weight room. --Ryan
Red Baron Posted November 10, 2004 Report Posted November 10, 2004 40 yard dash: 5.7 sec 100m: 13.9 sec 200m: 28.2 sec
Corey_Lazarus Posted November 11, 2004 Report Posted November 11, 2004 I ran. I ran so far away. I ran. I ran all night and day. I had to get away.
The Mandarin Posted November 11, 2004 Report Posted November 11, 2004 I was never properly taught how to start, so my 40 yard is like 6.0 or something lousy. I'm good at long distance. Don't have any numbers though.
Guest Leena Posted November 11, 2004 Report Posted November 11, 2004 I run every day, but have no idea what my times are.

Guest goatfish Posted November 11, 2004 Report Posted November 11, 2004 This is a couple of years back, before I discovered the wonderful combination of knee surgery/college life, so there's no way in hell I could do this now. But as far as PR's go. 100m: 11.5 200m: 23.7 400m: 53.2 1 mile: 5:08
The Czech Republic Posted November 11, 2004 Report Posted November 11, 2004 I want to find out what my mile was freshman year, the last time I ran it and kept track.

Dr. Tyler; Captain America Posted November 11, 2004 Report Posted November 11, 2004 I haven't timed myself in ages, and when I did, it was only in the 40 yard dash. In that, I got a 4.65. I run distance now, but mostly just for fitness. I'm more concerned with final distance than the time I accomplished it in.
Guest subliminal_animal Posted November 11, 2004 Report Posted November 11, 2004 The picture of you running was pretty funny, bigolsmitty.
Big Ol' Smitty Posted November 11, 2004 Author Report Posted November 11, 2004 The picture of you running was pretty funny, bigolsmitty. Yeah? I have some pics from later in the race too (it was a half-marathon). I don't look nearly as chipper in those.
Guest Nanks Posted November 11, 2004 Report Posted November 11, 2004 The picture of you running was pretty funny, bigolsmitty. As funny as this one of me running??
Ted the Poster Posted November 11, 2004 Report Posted November 11, 2004 What the fuck are you wearing in that pic, Nanks? Looks like a unitard.
Guest Nanks Posted November 11, 2004 Report Posted November 11, 2004 Yeah, that's a lycra racesuit. There's a good explanation, but it will require some detail, and it's 2:30am here and I'm loaded and need to be at work at 8:30am. So if there's specific call for explanation, I will oblige later on.
Guest Shutterspeed Posted November 11, 2004 Report Posted November 11, 2004 If I were you, I'd be frightened that I knew that.
Guest Shutterspeed Posted November 11, 2004 Report Posted November 11, 2004 The material of which the suit is made from. Ah, forget it.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted November 11, 2004 Report Posted November 11, 2004 I ran a bit in my teens, mostly from policemen that raided our rural bonfire drinking parties. I never got caught, and that's alright for being a smoker. I'll run stairs and hills pretty frequently just so I don't have a heart attack when I'm 30, but I don't really time myself or run competitively. I figure if I'm covered in sweat and gasping, I did enough for the day.
Mystery Eskimo Posted November 11, 2004 Report Posted November 11, 2004 Half marathon around 1hr 40, hoping to bring that down to 1hr 35ish next month. Have my first marathon April 05...
kkktookmybabyaway Posted November 12, 2004 Report Posted November 12, 2004 I stopped once 5-0 almost busted me with a kilo in my backpack. Oops, wrong running. Sorry...
Damaramu Posted November 12, 2004 Report Posted November 12, 2004 I can't run long distance b/c I'm out of shape. But I can pull off a fast 40 because my legs are so long and I guess I can move for a big guy. When I worked out for the Sooners they clocked my 40 at 5 flat. Course my 100 would probably be in the 15 range....lol. Because at about 60 I'd be like "Hold on I need to catch my breath!" Ok not that bad...
