As the wily veteran trying to return back to his golden days of yore, I have offered myself for modship at this new OAO Board.

Me, Czech, Rando and Quik should be the mods at Rando's board.

Word. Then all 4 people who read and post at that board will have mod powers.

Oh tag~!

I was thinking it because one of us is usually the winnar each week.

Oh.

Like I said, I can easily change the theme.

Right now, I'm in the process of changing the board. Come check it out in a few minutes.

Well, the thing about mod powers... it's like this. Sometimes, you start to notice hair where there wasn't hair before. And you start feeling differently about girls. And some day, when you find a girl you really love, you'll pick her up at the street corner and pay her $75 to shit on your chest while Robert Gibson watches you jack off furiously.

So what will the Dudes with Attitudes do next week?

I swear, this thing is going to end up with Orton vs. HHH for the title, with Evolution barred from ringside, Benoit, Jericho and Maven surrounding the ring, and Snitsky and Edge chained to Rosey.

Flair will be in a cage elevated above the ring.

And Triple H will still find a way to win.

AHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

What the Hell was that show? I mean, really, what was that? Who booked this crap? Who in their right mind? It can't be someone who has a clue about wrestling, who has watched it for any length of time, and who understands what a heel is and what a babyface is.

HHH v Maven had THE WORST booking I've ever seen in a World title match. That includes the Fingerpoke of Doom, that includes David Arquette standing victorious and that includes a bloodied Vince McMahon standing mid-ring with the WWF title around his waist. If the goal was to turn HHH babyface while turning everyone else on the show heel and taking away all of their heat, they accomplished that quite nicely.

Benoit and Jericho have basically become common thugs who obviously don't care about the prestige of the title, even if they talk a good game. If they truly cared, they wouldn't disgrace the belt by interfering in a title match. B & J act like a pack of wolves and constantly back up whoever they think can accomplish their collective goals. They have the making of great heels, right? Well, the problem is that they're two of the top three babyfaces at the moment and they're expected to get heat under those circumstances. Who books this shit? Seriously. Who?

Maven is the biggest tool on RAW now. He has a chance to wrestle for the World title or join Evolution. And he actually DEBATES it. He can't figure out the right decision. He openly courts both sides and criticizes the friends who stand by his side. Why should anyone give a shit what he does? In addition to blowing up early in the match, showing little intensity and drive, performing practically no offense and wrestling lighter than Lance Storm on quaaludes, he can't make up his mind what he wants. He has no loyalty to his friends and can't even figure out if he wants to wrestle for the title. Yes, he made the right decision in the end, but the fact that he even had to ponder it made him a character an audience in their right mind wouldn't even want to get to know. At least if he was a heel, he'd be understood. Not necessarily liked or respected, but understood. But he's considered the tough luck kid, the guy trying to get ahead on honest effort and skill, and when push comes to shove, he shows FAR too much shakiness in his honor. Bad booking. Bad, bad booking.

HHH looked great tonight. He took the best Maven had to offer, the best Chris Jericho had to offer, the best Chris Benoit had to offer and the best Randy Orton had to offer and came out ahead. He defied the odds. This would have been truly effective booking in 1999 if the main event was Steve Austin against Viscera and each member of the Corporate Ministry was running in doing finishers and Austin kept kicking out. This was not that. This would be like running Bret Hart against Owen Hart in 1994 and having Davey Boy Smith, Razor Ramon, Lex Luger and Doink all run in and give Owen their best offense, only for Owen to still emerge victorious.

I can't see any of these losers headlining an upcoming show against HHH and getting the audience behind him, much less winning. SurSer was already headed in that direction, and HHH getting his comeuppance is definitely a good thing, but RAW has turned into HHH the admirable heel against a roster of cheaters who can't win big matches who are turning out in numbers to ensure that anyone -- ANYONE -- gets a victory over him and takes the title.

HHH was right tonight. He is the only person on RAW who speaks the truth.

Before the match, did anybody in the crowd think Maven could ACTUALLY find a way to beat Triple H for the World Heavyweight Championship?

Nope.

But by the end of the match, the entire building was on their feet, believing - for at least one minute - that this glorified jobber had a chance of winning the Heavyweight Title.

They got the crowd COMPLETELY into a match that, with all respect, should have been heatless.

The match proved to be both exciting and entertaining. How much more can you ask from a HHH/Maven Heavyweight Title match?

I think they did a respectable job with the match tonight.

The lasting effects of this match will not see Maven taken more seriously, considering he and the top three babyfaces couldn't even collectively put away HHH. The lasting effect will be that the faces are just petty losers and none of them could beat HHH in a singles match, so they've all decided to gang up on him out of jealousy. Not to mention that interference as excessive as what we had in that match tonight totally devalues the belt and turns into an over-the-top, comic showing, and will only further train the audience to look toward the aisle when a wrestler executes his finisher in the future.

But the Jericho/Benoit thing made NO sense. They proved Triple H right.

The two things I'm intrigued with are if Edge meant to spear HHH or Maven, and if Maven will be pissed next week due to Jericho and Benoit doing EXACTLY what Triple H claimed they would do.

You can't rebel. Rebelling would lead to well, a rebellion...and a rebellion would lead to anarchy.
