Sense of Humor

Watching Scott Peterson trade shots with an ostrich on the first page of this thread is fascinating.

My sense of humor only plays well occasionally on the board, but typically, it's always awesome. I'm very sarcastic and make a lot of constant pop culture references. I'm also a natural mimic, so I know how to make jokes that I think people understand. I do also dabble in the absurd. It's often times hard to get me to be serious for any length of time, unless I'm on a message board.

I never thought Loss had a sense of humor ever...ever...

It's there. I just can't tell when other people are joking online and when they're not, so I don't know how to react to it.

yeah I have the same problem too, actually...then when you react negatively to something said that was supposedly joking or sarcastically, they shit all over you for it...

Yeah, sometimes, I'll make a totally joking response being sarcastic, and people think I'm going off on them. I have friends where we have an agreement to never talk online, because we get along famously in person and end up fighting like cats and dogs on AIM.

My humour doesn't always play very well, message board or not, since part of it is based on me deadpanning everything. Nevertheless, my sense humour is primarily based on absurdities, sarcasm and bizarre pop culture references, that I'm usually the only one to get since I'm such a huge nerd.

I got the sick side of my sense from my mom and dad. They're both perverts, but didn't fess up to it until recent years. Most of the rest of my sense nowadays is from the edutainment overstimulation from witnessing internet flametards spew their shit. The rest of it is sarcasm and oddball metaphors.
