CanadianChris 0 Report post Posted November 25, 2004 May as well start this for the two games going on today. Indianapolis is laying a shitkicking on the Lions -- 34-9 with 10 minutes left in the 3rd. Manning is 18/23 for 206 and FIVE TDs (now 40 on the season). MARTYEWR 0 Report post Posted November 25, 2004 By any chance, does anybody know what's the most number of TD's Manning's thrown in a single game?
CanadianChris 0 Report post Posted November 25, 2004 By any chance, does anybody know what's the most number of TD's Manning's thrown in a single game? 6, according to pro-football-reference.com. He did it last year against the Saints.
bob_barron 0 Report post Posted November 25, 2004 Peyton just tied his career high. This is a shitkicking
bob_barron 0 Report post Posted November 25, 2004 They pulled Peyton. I know it wasn't necessary that he stay in the game but I wanted him to get #
CanadianChris 0 Report post Posted November 25, 2004 Probably a wise move on Dungy's part, given the heat they've been taking about supposedly running up the score lately. Peyton's got the TD record locked up now, barring injury. He could break it within two weeks. I wouldn't be surprised to see him get to 60, the way he's throwing. LaParkaMarka 0 Report post Posted November 25, 2004 Dungy and the Colts have been getting flak for keeping him in during blowouts. Makes sense that they take him out.
Guest El Satanico Report post Posted November 25, 2004 I'll be surprised if Peyton doesn't own the record at the end of Week 14.
CanadianChris 0 Report post Posted November 25, 2004 Peyton set a couple more records today -- most five-TD games in a season (broke a tie with Daunte Culpepper this season) and most consecutive four-TD games (Marino in 1984).
Guest Wart Report post Posted November 26, 2004 I've got tickets to the Colts/Texans game in a couple weeks, so Im hoping Manning can break the record then.
cabbageboy 0 Report post Posted November 26, 2004 For whatever reason I'm thinking the Texans will play the Colts tough there. As in hold him to about 2-3 TDs. Colts will still win it but closer than expected. He'll put an ass kicking on the Titans in Indy however, at least 4 TDs. Dare I say he'll be going for the record against...the Ravens? Oh, and that Cowboys/Bears game today was one of the worst games I've ever seen.
Guest The Shadow Behind You Report post Posted November 26, 2004 Whoever plans the Thanksgiving games really needs to work on letting teams wear the "bad" throwback uniforms. I know it's old skool and all but those bear's uni's were atrocious.
Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted November 26, 2004 The Lions unis were none too pleasant, either
Guest El Satanico Report post Posted November 26, 2004 I liked Chicago's jerseys, but unlike alot of people I like orange jerseys. Well, that's excluding the orange jerseys of Tennessee and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, those aren't a good shade of orange. I don't believe the Chicago jerseys were "throwbacks". The style of the numbers was modern and I think Chicago has always worn blue jerseys.

Guest The Shadow Behind You Report post Posted November 28, 2004 Palmer sucks. He throws a INT on the first play and Cleveland score on their first play. and Chad Johnson is limping off the field. FANTASTIC. and Rudi Johnson runs for a MONSTER run of 62 yards.
Guest The Shadow Behind You Report post Posted November 28, 2004 Bengals quickly rebound from that abortion of a first drive and go down the field in three plays with a 12 Yard td to washington for the tying score.

Guest The Shadow Behind You Report post Posted November 28, 2004 Palmer threw another INT. Thats 2 in 4 drives. I have a strong feeling Kitna comes in after Palmer throws 3 more.
Guest The Shadow Behind You Report post Posted November 28, 2004 13-14. Orange Tigers.
Guest The Shadow Behind You Report post Posted November 28, 2004 Cleveland is throwing INTs after INTs. Cincinnati is getting everything right. Big runs, great passes and receptions. Palmer has atoned for his two picks. and they are about to extend the lead here with a field goal to make it 27-13. Halftime.
strummer 0 Report post Posted November 28, 2004 Looks to be the end of Butch Davis in Cleveland, I'm getting a Jim Fassell/2003 Giants vibe with the Browns. They seem to not want to play for him anymore.
2GOLD 0 Report post Posted November 28, 2004 Looks to be the end of Butch Davis in Cleveland, I'm getting a Jim Fassell/2003 Giants vibe with the Browns. They seem to not want to play for him anymore. Maybe cause he's a giant asshole who doesn't coach them to any wins and makes constant changes at quarterback? That and his permanent hard-on for the waste of space known as Kelly Holcumb.
Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted November 28, 2004 You guys are going WAY too hard on Palmer. Consider the fact the Rudi Johnson has absolutely sucked donkey dick this year compared to his breakout year last season, and he's got a lot on his shoulders for a first year-quarterback. This guy hasn't played at all before this season, and people are blaming HIM for Cincy's troubles? No wonder the Bengals suck. Everything keeps getting lumped on the quarterback while no attention is paid to that atrocity of a defense, which to be fair hasn't played terrible ALL season, but they're very inconsistent. From what I've seen of Palmer, the guy has a lazer-like accuracy. Reminds me of a young Troy Aikman. And he's got the composure to play, but he'll still make dumb throws and force throws because he doesn't have that NFL experience yet. Same thing with Eli Manning, who I've been watching on the Philly-Giants game. There was a play that could have had the Giants go up if only Manning had thrown the ball up for grabs instead of throwing it low where the defensive back had position to grab it for a touchback.
